RYZOM!!!  It's back, and I couldn't be happier.  I hope i'll be able to play Ryzom for a very long time.  I bet it will outlast WAR on my machine.

Also EVE is always installed.  I am playing with it as well.

I like that last sentence: "is always installed..." and "I am playing WITH it" ..... "as well".

Sounds typical Eve post. Believing you gain credibilty by just mentioning it.

Nice to see this.

I formatted twice my HD in the last year. Once for EVE and once for AoC, just to be sure.

Just recently picked up the Sims2 after avoiding it for all this time, otherwise Warhammer 40k Soul Storm (Space Marines Attack!!), Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific, Hit Man Blood Money, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Witcher, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, and Neverwinter Nights 2 have been taking up my free time in the last few months.  Looking forward to getting back into an MMORPG since the last one I played (and enjoyed) was Lord of the Rings Online.

Warhammer Age of Reconing has been on my radar for a while now, and I really have a good feeling about Mythic as the developer.  I was in the DAoC beta (and played for a long while) and I remember that Mythic had the most stable launch of any MMORPG at the time.  The only other MMORPGs that I've played with as stable a launch has been City of Heroes and Lord of the RIngs Online.  WoW had a pretty sorry launch I remember (since I was also in that Beta) but it cleaned up pretty good after a couple of weeks.

The biggest problem DAoC had in its early years was the near constant nerfing and rebalancing of the player classes.  I think that Mythic has probably learned from that mistake, and it is a positive sign in my book that they announced they were dropping 4 of the proposed classes to concentrate on the fun and play balance of the remaining 20 classes.  Like all MMOs I think there will be tweaks and changes post launch, but I get the impression from the official releases that the game is stable, relatively solid, and most importantly Fun!  The remaining question is can they get through the open beta "stress testing" and still meet their somewhat ambitious release date.

Only 2 out of 30 reactions play Wow.

So far the myth Wow players will leave for WAR.

2 possibilites here:

- They already left long ago (good possibility) and are no longer active (although they claim to know the game).

- They still play it, but are afraid to tell it here in the hate Forums (even better possibility).

So 600/800K after 2 months will indeed try Warhammer and it won't even take a dent out of the Beatles.

tbh dude wow is a good game. No one can deny that and even if you don't like it doesn't mean its a bad game. And I am glad wow exists cause now mmo has become something that companies wanna make cause of the huge fanbase. Before wow came out there weren't many mmo's but you have to check the game list now of www.mmorpg.com its becomming something huge.

Even if you say UO was the groundsetter of mmo, wow made mmo huge.

So if people play wow i don't mind that. There is only 1 thing i hate about wow players though. Is that they think they know everything about mmo's but they don't realise that wow is a serious casual game.
I mean leveling to 70 is piss easy in wow considering games like everquest, lineage or final fantasy 11 (man what a grindfest and losing levels when you die ? whats up with that. Can't believe people whine in wow cause they have to run a little).

I'm actually playing WoW. But each time I do I get bored to tears in stupid instances BGs.

But I keep playing as my hatred towards WoW transforms into joy towards WAR.

Funny thing though, In general chat channels we often see things like : f*ck WAR dont go play this game its crap!!!

So if I see soo often those kind of message, its probably because WAR has some sort of interest in the WoW community.

I am playing wow again. I quit to prep for AOC. I enjoyed AOC on the necro until 46 and the I made a barbarian because they hosed the necro adn got him to 49 before I wanted to run my head through a meat grinder. I was a huge aoc supporter but that game really did suck around level 45 and I couldnt take it. Wow is fun kind of, I certainly dont have the hours logged that I use to but it kills time. I am really excited for WAR. I think they have done everything right and should be fun. I am extremely competitive so lets hope that I dont pop blood vessels while doing rvr

DoD:Souce, CSS:Source, TF2, 5 Mins to Kill Yourself - on adultswim.com; easy way to kill 30 mins on any of them.  Mostly watch reruns of The Office, never gets old.

At 15 I doubt there is much of one.  What can you do when you are 15?  Can't drink, smoke, drive or see an R-rated movie.  Well you technically can, but you have to beg someone to buy for you.  Easier to get drugs underage than booze in the US.

Of course, later on in life you just have to work and don't get time to do any of that anyway.

City of Heroes (Villains) and AoC. Though to be honest, I haven't logged into AoC for about 3 weeks now. I hit mid-50s on my PoM and am not having as much fun in the Eiglophian Mountains as I did in the earlier levels. Waiting to see if WAR is better. :)

I do hope you're being sarcastic...  The mindset that all of those things are necessary to have 'fun' in life disgusts me.  I'm 18 and spend my free time training in Martial Arts, practicing drums and singing, playing with my multiple bands, and dabbling in computer games (as I said earlier, Terranigma right now on an emulator).  My two jobs are teaching Martial Arts and teaching and watching kids for a homeschool coop.  I will also be starting my third year of college next week.  I refuse to go to parties that include drinking because I've seen my older sister and father go through unbelievably hard times due to those things.  They're completely unnecessary distractions from what one can really do with life.  In other words, I hope more people are spending their waiting time on 'Real Life', and that real life doesn't have to entail any useless actions.  BUT, if you're kidding, then this is just a friendly helpful message from a fellow gamer!

SEE YOU IN WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
