Wrong , CE PO's are the only ones supposed to be getting invites right now that we know of.  MJ announced it last week and also made a statement about the waves of invites.

that message was on there since like friday. If all goes well CE and the aussies will be playing by the middle of the week.

Weird same here in "CLOSED" beta but on the server  page it says both servers are "down"

2) We've invited about 10K players into our Oceanic Closed Beta regardless of whether they bought a CE or not. We need some volume down there so we invited both Oceanic CE buyers and non-CE buyers.

Yeah, no e-mail here, I just checked the Beta Center. Of course bit torrent is the devil...14 hours and its at 54.6 % . and the network icon is green.../sigh maybe by the time I get home from work it will be done.

Going to correct both of you.

First Bread. It IS for CE buyers to get into closed beta as the link in the other post shows.

Second Tasty. I dont know for sure if Open beta is next week or not. Unless you have some inside info neither do you. Open beta dates havent been announced yet. My guess is the last week of August or the first week of September.

On friday (the 15th)  they are letting people make master accounts and from there re-enter there open beta codes though. There is also going to be a Preview weekend for everyone, including the CE testers that dont get there CB invite (for whatever excuse Mythic wants to give, not everyone is going to get an invite). After that OB will start letting in pre-order SE buyers.

At least you got your invite. Some of us still havent got ours and still have to go through this horrid download. Still time though. I wont actually hate any of you other CE owners till they say "We've envited everyone we are going to". Then I will hate you, maybe take a potshot at Mythic (although its really not a huge deal if I dont get one) since I have the CE and make the system reqs eaisly

I've been following WAR pretty well, guess I deserve it, allthough I dont think it was luck that struck me

I don't have a CE nor anything but i did make my Account on 07/22/2007 where is my Invite

with the slow Bt speeds there is a way around it using the beta patcher in the torrent download it and its co files then run it it downloads the game for you 25% in 3 hours for me and im in aus

Just as a FYI....

I was reading the Warhammeralliance forums and I've seen a few posts about the possibility of being banned for using the patcher for downloading it.  Though I'm not sure how credible this information may be.

Wait. Can you explain better? How do I run the patcher when I'm downloading the entire game?
