Aion is no longer in need of a CBT, am I the only one that sees this as a step forward? If they don't need anymore CBT, do you really expect them to halt development to stay in the CBT phase? I, for one, am glad they don't.

No there's not. The max lvl is 50 I believe. It is more than possible that all systems that they needed tested have been tested an that anything from 40 to 50 just requires in house testing. |

sorry but i agree with other posters here saying this is not a good idea. Open Beta's are definitely a combination of marketing and stress testing of the servers. Here in NA...other than this forum...i see no advertising for this game what so ever.....while all the other mmos of late, even potbs, have been been advertised to some extent. I am not dissing the game, nor the people who would like to play it, i just thinkno open beta + no advertiing is bad marketing.

And how exacty do you know, "There is a lot of beta still needed" No, I haven't played either but just the fact that NCsoft is done with beta, kinda leads me to believe, they don't need beta anymore.... idk just a wild guess >.>

I will indeed, can't wait to take as many pictures as I can, the first thing I'll do is taking pictures of the whole stand, and then I'll get myself in the long queue to play Aion, while Mark or Lyan records me! :D (im going with them ^^) |

Or just go and bash other game, because I for sure will NOT cry for the fact that you don't want to play Aion anymore , or because you don't have faith anymore in the NcSoft staff.
People will be much more critical of Aion once the official forums are up than I am. So start getting used to it, it happens in every game. First fans flock the forums and later actual players who will notice mistakes and post about it, often in a negative way. I did VG beta / EQ beta and AoC beta it happens for every game. I played CBT3 for a few hours and there was no noticable content past lvl 40 and quests ended around lvl 35 while the max is lvl 50, that's all the experience I have right now and a lot of content is missing. I'll say whatever I like about the game and dislike, that's why we discuss it, not to praise it and slimeball it. I see both good and bad sides in Aion. A lot of content isn't in yet. And don't ever quote me again. |

WoW , in few hours you saw that there are contents that they are missing in the game? You seems to be a "good" beta tester . Anyway , I don't think you`ve played Aion or maybe you did , so can you please share us some prints you`ve made? ( You did make some screens , don't you? ) Hence , I will qoute you as many time as I want and I am glad you realise that's about you. Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy? |

Yeah, no screenshots->no credibility pretty much. About the lack of content after level 35, where did you read that? I assume you had to read it since you only played a pair of hours, but I also assume you're bullshitting us cause every single report I've read from CBT 3 states the oppossite. Right now the main problems in beta are the lack of balance between Elyos and Asmodians, and problems with optimization in the abyss, which are being solved. |

I have a very hard time believing that you have experienced Aion enough to see that 'a lot of content is missing'. What you have been complaining about is lvl40+ content. Have you played any beta past lvl 40? Is that possible in 'a few hours'? Were you playing in english? If not, do you understand korean? if not, Im starting to see why youre complaing. I have to say that most other sources and reviews i have spoken to and read conflict with what youre saying.

Using the word fanboi is always easier than bringing facts or arguments. It has consequences though. Discussions in forums are easily solved by putting more arguments over the table than your debate rival(s), saying "I played beta, you didn't so STFU" isn't enough. |

Well it is my understanding that there wasn't much content 35+ in CBT3 because NCsoft didn't want to reveal much mor ethen they did and still wanted to give CBTers something to look foward to come release. Anyways, regardless of what I hear, I will play and find out for myself come release day ^_^

PlayNC got hurt badly with Tabula Rasa with "too many beta testers" Garriotts words not mine. So they have decided to do something different to try and avoid another Auto Assault and Tabula Rasa I expect. |

Lol testing only in Korea, because they know it's a crappy grinder, and Koreans eat that garbage up. If they tested in NA or EU they'd have to deal with angry people asking why the game is such a grind. |

no. beta testing is not a trial. they have tested all bugs and what needs to be tested in korea. in the preview they will just need to test the translation, beta does not = free trial. |
