I registered my ce pre-order open beta code a while ago, and have recently obtained the email for beta 3, is this the open beta that is advertised with the ce-preorder? (because it says closed beta)... *confused*

They are giving CE closed beta access and a Prieview weekend as previously announced by MJ.

This is the closed beta still, Mark promised last week that ce key holders would get to participate in the end of closed beta.

Enjoy,and tell them to hurry up with the next wave of invites

So when will the open beta codes be given out? - or do we just use the same open beta code given with the ce pre-order. Last question - regarding beta 3, when will it end?, don't think i can be bothered re-downloading the client if it'll only last for a few days.

You use the open beta code you were given when you ordered.  Nobody knows when b3 will end for sure, although it is likely to be some time around the 15th since that's when they said the OB would be available for download.
