So it's just a atlas, a wiki, and a story book for Everquest? Eh might give it a shot if it's worth reading?...Or if it's just what they said, a picture book...that's stupid! |

The link led me to another for http://www.bradygames.com/promotions/promotion.asp?promo=136637 Says it shows wireframe models in addition to shots, and you can save 20% by pre-ordering. Also says the book is $50. I'll pass. |

So I could spend $50 to see the evolution of a MMORPG go from great to a pile of crap? No thanks, moving on.
How about release classic EQ for the 10th anniversary? |

SOE is headed in a bad direction. Seems to get worse every time you turn around lately. You would think that they would at least include a disk with all the expansions for that kind of a price. How absurd. One of these days Sony will wake up and fire Smedley. Without doubt the most clueless executive in charge of a game company. Does not speak well for his boss to continue to let him destroy SOE.

Looking toward the EQ Book, now when do we get the movie and will the dwarves in Thurgadin ever get a Dairy Queen. |

I am shocked. This appears to be a straight forward offer which doesn't corrupt the playing field. I don't see any in-game advantage being offered along with this book in order to coerce a few more dollars out of the last couple Everquest players. No double experience bonus? No special mount? No sword of uberness? Smedley is slipping. |

I'd think the dwarves in Thurgadin could use an El Pollo Loco or a Chili's for the extra warmth, LOL. I'll pass on the book, too.

What is with the crappy collector edition addons. This book and most always art stuff. As a gamer I can care less about a book or art. Give me items or something fun to use. I think EQ2 is moving into the wrong direction. |

This one-of-a-kind collection includes: Interviews with key contributors to the EverQuest legacy, including John Smedley, Russell Shanks, Brad McQuaid and many others. What will Brad say? |

What is really sad is the link for the EQ legacy book leads to EQ2 players and not EQ players. Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do. |

Very encouraging, wouldn't you say? NOT! I'm really sad when I think of the legasy of EQ. 1) Rampant Greed (2 expansions a year? Who does that?) 2) Pandering to one portion of the game population while ignoring the rest! (raise the level cap, quick, the raiders are getting bored...) 3) Putting all their eggs in one basket and subsequently dropping it. (EQ:2, anyone?) 4) Breaking promises fast as they can. (keeping in touch with the widest player base possible) 5) Glacial response to player needs (unless you are a maxxed out raiding player). (when did get around to all those class revamps? Druids, Mages, Warrior, Shadow Knight, Paladin, Wizards, Enchanters, we're all still waiting..... fifth year, going on sixth...) I don't know if I can go on, it's all too sad.
