Will probably be Warhammer Online vs. Wotlk. Please Oh Please will Warhammer be good! I can't take it anymore. WoW (10-11 million subs) needs some damn competition! Conan missed the target...is Warhammer next?
Will Warhammer get at LEAST 1 million subs? |

For their sake, I do hope they get a decent amount of subscribers/fans. Just in order for them to polish the game to a certain level at least. But in all honesty, I doubt WAR is the answer. Gamer by nature, |

Not that I even like WoW but if I still played it I wouldn't even think about buying Warhammer. I don't like the idea of buying an entire game that is almost identical to one I already own and have bought expansions for. |

People keep looking for salvation, but refuse to see that the "business" MMO's will just keep stringing them along, taking their money, and handing them broken products with more promises that the future will be better. WAR was pushed it back till they felt it was ready, Mythic was far more honest than many other companies, and they have put forward an excellent promotion. For THAT, they get my pre-order, initial subscription, and if the game remains good... they will have a valuable customer. Keep your eyes open, compare the companies (not the games), and don't be duped by people that just want your initial purchase so they can begin the next game... only then will you find your "answer". |

I have my eyes on Aion, Huxley, and The Chronicles of spellborn... now i realize that Aion is a slightly fancier WoW immitation, but as I have been retired from WOW for a year now, I wouldnt mind playing a better version of that game modle. If the PVP snadbox is good in Huxley then that would rock, but the market is plagued with false promises, delays and cuts that I just cant inviest any faith in companies. As for spellborn... will it ever be realased in America before i go gray? these 3 games have been pushign back relase dates since 2007... so idk... im just like wheres the damn qualitiy games out there??? I mean will i have to keep screwign around in CoX and UT3 for another year or two until Champions or STO comes out? Am i going to wake up one morning from a druken stupor and find that I've busted the seal open on a LotR box? I mena I only thought I was attracted to Blue elves... not those pink skins. Eww. IDK, its startign to look like Im going to have to venture back out in the real world and start going on like dates again or something to pass the time... So messy. |

Darkfall is also supposedly releasing this year, have seen no evidence yet though. Could be a sleeper hit if it's got all the features the devs allege. Lol away vapour trolls. |

I think Aion has the potential to bring in a fair chunk... not close to WoW numbers, but maybe close to 500k. What I'm hoping for WAR? It sells like AoC, but it's not a bug-ridden pile of crap. |

will be interesting to see how Warhammer does, though I have to admit seeing some videos of it I wasn't too impressed. Being pvp-focused is something appealling to me however. |

Aion will probably be as big if not bigger then Lineage II. NCSOFT are bright and so far, all their games are pretty decent. That being said, the Korean market will probably drop to Aion and the rest will follow.
WoW will remain the king of all MMO in terms of numbers but in Quality, WOW HAS NEVER been even been close to number one. That’s like saying that Mcdonalds taste better then a burger cooked on a real BBQ. WOW has the mass and that’s about all that’s going for it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great game and does good in the league it plays in.

Although WAR is not actually a WoW clone, the perception is that it is a WoW clone and therefore without some other draw it will suffer from the LOTRO effect where people see little reason to change since its not much of a change. Why start over afterall?
A large number of people want to switch from WoW but won't do it if you offer them either a) the same thing (LOTRO) or b) crap (AoC).
So there will be a whole lot of interest and if RvR turns out well there should be enough of an interesting "difference" to get past the LOTRO effect.
Note: WAR is actually substantially different than WoW, I am talking about people's perception not reality. |

If it contains the words video and game, it must be a WOW clone. |

Fallen earth has promise at least more so than {Dark and lig.... Uhm mourn...cough' uhm } I mean Darkfall. For every minute you are angry , you lose 60 seconds of happiness."-Emerson If you can't argue the point don't say anything at all. |

lol ain't it the truth cause it's like all them other crap mmorpgs that gain lots of hype for some reason and never amount to anything....... DnL, PotBS, Face of Mankind and Roma victor etc etc.
Anyways if you're bored of current mmorpgs then WAR isn't going to do anything for you because it's just the same basic mechanics as what WOW uses but because they ain't Blizzard it'll be released half done and very buggy with lots of people complaining that it sucks........ only themselves to blame that after all the previous disappointments they still think WAR will be good.
