i made this post in WHA so i want to see what i can get here

With this new announcements im sure alot of us are going "omg this is awesome" but best buy atleast for me or for anyone else i think has yet to give out their keys yet, is there any news on this or anything, i recently sent in a issues, showing what mark jacobs said so i can get my keys already.

3) Regarding the pre-order, Collector’s Edition and the Standard Edition, I’m pleased to announce that we will be holding a special “Preview Weekend” in addition to the normal Open Beta. Those people who pre-ordered the CE will be given priority entrance into the PW. You will need to download the client (of course) from one of several download options, none of which will require any additional payment of any kind. Once the CE buyers have had their chance to register and download the client, we will allow our Closed Beta testers into the PW as well. We would like to have around 100K people load testing and playing the game so depending on how many CE purchasers sign up for this, we will invite other people into the PW as well.

4) Regarding the pre-order, Collector’s Edition and the Standard Edition, we are extending the Head Start for the pre-order CE (not the SE) buyers by at least an additional day as an added thank you for buying our CE. Just as with the PW, no additional fee will be required to play in our Head Start.

5) Regarding the pre-order, Collector’s Edition and the Standard Edition, we are pleased to announce that we will also be inviting our pre-order CE buyers into our Closed Beta test starting next week. There will still be some hardware spec requirements (but they are much lower than our current requirements) since we are still in Closed Beta but we expect that the vast majority of our PO CE buyers will meet the lowered requirements. We gotten a lot of feedback from the community on this point over the last few weeks asking for this and we are now going to make it happen.

"Let me tell you that unfortunately we cannot send your the codes before August 17th. I truly understand that you need them in order to have access to other perks but these codes are not going to be provided to us by the manufacturer before this date.
I am very sorry that I was not able to help you.
Thank you for your time and have a great day!" Obviously this is all dependent on when they start inviting CE pre orders but assuming the best next week is not the 17th.

But i hate to get screwed out of this one.

anyway any solution?

My question is, how are they going to tell I pre-ordered a CE edition? I was never given a code by EB when I pre-ordered it, except the rave card with open beta/early access etc.

So how is Mythic going to know I pre-ordered it?

I'm in closed beta, but I want that extra day of early access.

You shold have 3 codes:

1.Item

2. Head Start

3. CE-Pre-order

You enter the CE-Pre-order code into the promotional section of youe beta center account if you have not created one yet you need to. That will notify them that you have a CE-Pre-Order.

If  you did not get the 3rd code then you need to get on their ass and to EB to give  you one.

I did get a card with all 3, I just thought that card was given to anyone who pre-ordered Standard or not, I got 2 for pre-order a Collectors and a Standard, I guess that's the CE pre-order, and the rest are going to be Standard pre-order (Direct2Drive, all the ones that got announced with release date).

When you enter it it should say " CE Pre-order " under your promotion codes. I got mine from Amazon and mine says " Amazon CE Pre-order " so depending on who you buy from I guess it can vary.

For the OP.  If you have a Best Buy near you, I would go see if they have a CE version on the shelf.  They really are not all sold out like is being said.  Last week I bought 2 copies of the CE at Best Buys near me.  And that left 2 more still on the shelf.  And it really is the CE version.  I have already put in my code on my beta app and it says I have the CE preorder. 

Yeah when they sold out that means that all the retailers have purchased the alloted 60,000 I see them for sale all over the place locally.

 Im glad I canceled my online order from bestbuy, I found a CE box instore and snaged it fast.Codes in hand.
