I have a question about how the combat system worked and I couldnt find anything about it. I heard how its very "wow-style" from some people but itd be nice to have some specifics. Is it going to be like wow with auto-attack or like aoc with the slightly more engaging but still button spamming technique?

It probably has an auto attack but each class has a "mechanic" which seperates them from the pack

auto attacking in WAR = Dead player

Expect to be Twisting abilities & spamming...just on some toons you have to be careful about spamming...becase you can blow yourself up on accident.

True is this :) You can auto attack but you ll be dead if thats all you do. There are alot of factors involved.

trying to run through / bunny hop  = dead too....(this doesn't count legitment circle strafing tho it can equal dead if your quarry has his friends with him lol).

I heard somewhere that they made it so you cant bunny hop at all, it does something to your powers or cooldowns.. so i guess in combat when you jumping around you wont be able to kill people.. :)

There's also collision detection so you can't run through people.

The only reason to jump in RvR is to climb up rocky areas to hide yourself or leap off a Wall / Cliff to avoid giving the otherside a point lol

Yeah this is can play a big part creating choke points on bridges, door ways, etc, so your tanks can make like a shield wall in front of the ranged attackers adding more strategy to the battles. AoC had this I think, but the rest of the game failed, WAR has it, and it works like it should.

Think wow with collision detection and slower combat.
