Behold! Rash of the Itch King comes in November! Quake in fear!

Hey I'm all for a good 'ol country style troll roast but I wanna hear all the facts. Give the good but don't skip on the bad, the trolls will use the bad but we never take em seriously anyways. I wanna know the bad so that hopefully the good outweighs it .

Same thing happened with AoC.  You were probably one of the AoC trolls and now you are complaining about WAR trolls.  It's a vicious downward spiral of the online community - all negative, no positive (except from rabid fanboys that are completely out of touch with reality).

Agreed - Fair and balanced info with both positives and negatives is a good thing, and keeps us distanced from one of the biggest problems that the AoC community faced in late beta/early release (one sided positive only opinions).

I'll be there to share my thoughts when it drops.

Waiting for: A skill-based MMO with Freedom and Consequence.
Woe to thee, the pierce-ed.

The suspense is terrible. I hope it will last.

So is this game any good??? Thinking about pre-ordering. Don't another Vanguard.

Ohhhhh mama, we don't need another Vanguard.

Don't worry, it is'nt like vanguard. The only similarity I see is that they both are online games

Waiting for Earthrise, Stargate Worlds, Fallen Earth, Mortal Online, Darkfall and WAR 40K Online.

I actually was not an AoC fan nor a troll.  I picked it up with lowered expectations due to the news I was hearing and how they handled their NDA drop and open beta.  I experienced the whole game past level 80, I had some fun, had more frustration.  I posted a full review of my experience and made a few long replies to responses.  You can find all that in my post history.

I'm like the majority out there, not really a fanboy of anything, just a guy who grew up with 8-bit nintendo and grew into loving MMORPGs.  I'm like the few who cling to the greatness that was pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies.  I've been looking for the next game I can spend a couple or more years playing, and I think I have found it in this game.  I missed out on DAoC due to being fully involved in SWG, but I'm glad I am getting a second chance to play a mythic product in this genre.

So the trolls can keep piling up at the door to the Keep, but they won't succeed at breaking in.  Next week, we start pouring the hot oil on them.

To be fair AOC made some cuts like 4 months before release and did announce it.  They got rid of two classes and prestige classes.  The biggest difference will be when WAR drops the NDA.  AOC still hasn't dropped their NDA to this day.
