I started around 4th aniversery lawl.....

I remember epic gridning of 3 -4 weeks to get to lv 20 ( biiiig turnoff ... if lv cap was 40-50 i wouldnt mind......but its like ...rly high lol ) .....Sooo how long to 20??? I guess if its easie to lv 60 i can force myself to grind ( i hate grinding but theres no other game ) and join epic PVP >_<

I got 2 choices of chars....

Elven elder.....or..........Dark elf assassin........or just a nuke class......but i want to raid alot so idk which one to pick.....but i love being an assassin so much fun lol.....are they underpowered in this game???

Levels 1-20 are around an hour or two. Seems level 40 is gonna take you about a week if you go slow. One guy says 48 hours total, so that could however many days as it takes if accurate.

The interview says 60 in about a month if you put your mind to it.

Again, this is all other players so I don't really know.

All in all, the level grind seems to have been pretty much eliminated. At least thats what other players and the interview are leading us to believe. The money grind is still alive and well if you want the best gear however. They are putting in a new type of gear called "standard" gear. This will be the stuff all the fast levelers will be able to afford. The vets are going to have a HUGE upper hand in regards to gear against anyone who comes in clean and hits 60 + in a month or two.  They will be no match for vets with OT weapons and armor and SA's in long time guilds.

You started with Hellbound but you remember epic grind to 20? That makes no sense 1-20 is maybe 12 hours or so now tops.

3-4 weeks to level 20 in hellbound? What do you play, 15 minutes a day? o.o

back in c4 it used take about a week to get to level 20, it only takes a few hours now..i got to level 10 in 30 minutes. my how things have changed.

lvl 20 took around 1 hour for me. Level 40 about 2-3 days and i only played 2-3 hours a day so yea its a difference. I did alot of raiding tho, but still its such a big difference

Back in prelude, it took me 2 months to get to 20 haha, some of my friends couldn't even make it! Now I can get a character to 20 in a few hours.

Yes i'm coming back as well and will be looking for a clan / academy on Phoenix.

Going to be playing a phantom summoner (90% sure on that one), and dragging around an SE / PP so i can have a super-buffed summon.

(Seriously, this update is really good, anyone who is on the fence here should try it out).

I got to 20 in 2 days in Prelude, lots of casual gamers here. As long as you FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS you will get to 20 in an average hour and be able to afford top Standard equipment for D grade.

That actually sounds really nice. If WAR wasn't right around the corner I'd come back.

This all takes about 1 hour.

I did it last week.

P.S. You only have to kill like 10 mobs total (I think I only killed like 6 mobs).

I myself found it difficult to level up in L2 because all the monster that i encounter doesn't give out that much exp.
