If you aren't aware, Don Davis died June 29, 2008 of a "massive heart attack". R.I.P.
By the way, I don't agree with you that the relevant market here is health care. You're not regulating health care. You're regulating insurance. It's the insurance market that you're addressing and you're saying that some people who are not in it must be in it, and that's -- that's different from regulating in any manner commerce that already exists out there. - Scalia |

Now whenever I watch SG1, that's all i'll think about. :(
I didn't care much for his character at first, but he really grew on you as the show progressed.

Yea that sucks. To bad he wont be making any more cameos on the show. I hope everyone who enjoyed the series will remember him as a good actor. |

Yeh he was a good actor and in the series he really grew on you, from a hard ass new CO to that lovable general we all with we had if we joined the Air force. I cant really imagine the series without him, man.. its strange.

Yeah really gonna miss him. He will be in the new movie though. Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time. <p>Thats really sad, he was a great actor. Even thought i stopped watching hte show some time ago I still remember the going through the gate ceremony with him watching from the control room (a scene which we saw in 90% of the serie's eps). Hope there is some sort of tribute to him in the game.</p> I'm not a no life that sits in front of his computer all day long, I'm an intern that sits in front of his computer all day long. |

Same here... funny thing is, after they promoted him out of SGC, nobody else filled the role well. RDA was the best actor in the entire series in like 7 seasons as the leader of SG-1, but couldn't pull off one season as general. Beau Bridges is probably the most accomplished actor associated with Stagate, but totally sucks donkey balls on this show. They seem to be having a similar problem replacing Weir on Atlantis. |

What? No way! That is a SHAME. I loved Davis in SG1. Infact, next to Dean Anderson, he was my favorite actor of both shows. I was sad when the wrote Anderson out, and pretty much left the show for the vultures when Davis aka Hamond was written of... Man, I was really looking forward to seeing him in more shows/movies. This is a shame.

he added a lot to the show . it was never the same when he left had him only coming on now and then . will be sadly missed by all fans
