Has the full open beta testing begun or is it still in "test" mode? I ordered the CE and havent recieved an email.  Was wondering.....

No they need to finish Guild Beta! And I'm sure they'd have at least some kind of announcement when it starts.

There is no "full open beta" there's Closed Testing & NDA lifted testing (open beta).  But you got the CE so your in their version of Open beta.    I kinda feel bad for the people who won't get to play open beta..then again I don't feel bad since there'll be nearly 60k of us plus all the closed testers lol.

I'm betting when the NDA lifts and Open beta gets ready to start they'll have some huge press release for marketing PR.

I already said that..I said if you have a CE your In ... it just hasnt' started yet.    I doubt that many newsletter subscribers will get in Maybe Veterans that dont ahve a CE but Im betting most Veteran subscribers already have a CE.  

People we can say for sure are gonna be in open beta  Closed Beta Testers, Contest Winners who didnt' get selected for Closed due to hardware, and CE pre orders   Anyone else at this time is speculation.

You have to buy the Collector's Edition to get a code to be in the open beta, so its not rly an open beta.

That`s right,the only way you can get into open beta is through the CE . Once open beta starts there will be no more invites,it will be the people who are in beta now and the CE holders. You will not have an open beta where anyone can download the client,its just a beta with the NDA lifted and people who paid the £/$/E to get into the restricted open beta.

As some others have said all the CE key does is guarantee you get in the beta. There will be limited places most likely offered by partner sites. Indeed it wont be a fully open beta where anyone who wants to sign up can sign up - it will have limited places.

Unless you have proof of this your wrong the Dev's have said multiple times the CE or being a closed Beta TEster is the only gaurenteed way into the Open beta and that they do not support full open beta downloads like other games have done.   The NDA will be lifted and it'll be hyped for sure thats about the Only Normal thing about their beta process.

I was just taking your comments and taking it a step further. You said you feel bad for the people that  are not already in closed beta or don't have a CE preorder. However, ther might still be more newsletter subs that might get into open beta.

• People who have pre-ordered the Warhammer Online Collector’s Edition have codes that guarantees them a spot in the Open Beta.

Wrong-only the CE holders will get into open beta and comp winner`s.

You can`t just download the client and play.

No sorry but there will be no new invites once open beta starts.  The invite and registration stage is for closed beta only. 

The last wave of invites is for the final 2 weeks of closed beta then invites cease.

huh no where on warhammeronline.com is there a faq on open beta because techincally there isn't an faq.  Whats funny the 1 million mark has to do with when they start taking in ASIAN sign ups which they haven't so totally wrong quote there and has nothing to do with Open beta. You can only apply to CLOSED Beta.   You get to use your Open Beta key so your account is flagged for access to Open Beta.   Funny the Old community manager said exactly what I said Only Pre ORders and contest winners.  Hmm dont see anything about fileplanet yet.

If you are signed up for close beta when open beta comes out, you can still be invited.
