Not been a word from Developers yet on rates and nothing is confirmed.

What do you see as a fair monthly fee for a game like Darkfall on a good publish and a polished game?

Id pay 40$ if game is as good as we all hope.

Seems AoC charges europeans a higher monthly payt hen americans and what do you think, should that happen in Darkfall too?

I dont think so, why should Europeans sponsor Americans gameplay?

Why rock the boat, there is no reason to go above 15 bucks a month is enough, There is no reason to demand more nor is there a reason to be willing to pay them more.

The exchange rate is a bit wonky between EUR and USD right now because the American federal reserve has kept a very low interest rate for several years in an effort to stave off a recession.  That means the price of borrowing is lower, but consquently so are the returns on investments which causes speculators and investors to move their money out of US markets in other markets (primarily Europe and Japan).  So, if you're investing, the dollar isn't worth much, but if you're buying a hamburger or a video game you it's probably worth about the same as a Euro.

To make a long story short, if you want to pay $15 USD a month, move to the US.  You'll get a Big Mac meal there for about half of what you pay in 'average europe' and a car for about 60%.

Do we really get charged more than americans for AoC? i mean i know we get charged tax on our charges but that's law. but do we actualy get charged more by FC too? it's like each day i learn a lesson lol.

as in visitors you mean people noones ever heard of? who could easily be alts of a "developer"?

answer me this...why havent they let ANY big name gaming media in to see and play the game? EVERY game allows some sort of preview, even if its only the first level, for big game media. It's one of the best marketing tool there is. Woo the media, you got money made.

yes but look how much money it made funcom at launch, just getting the hype out. And who is the other person from the media they let in? Some guy named ASP who noone's ever heard of? the women gamer media who was sat in a "green room" and was not allowed to see the game until the next day, when she had to leave? Pray tell..who of a reputable, and outside the forum, source, has seen the game?

i heard of asp he played shadowbane there even screenshots with him playing LOd is a big enough guild to trust asp...

least there was a product. Right now i am still leaning towards vapor ware on this game. BTW KOTOR mmorpg, i played it...it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

£15 (or $30,000 or whatever the exchange rate is at now).

In England i am charged £8.95 the vat tax which is something like £3.95.

For AoC that is sorry :)
