As for all the comments about a pictures of the door there's a visit to Bioware interview about their MMO with basically the same type pictures for the same reason. They wouldn't allow pictures inside the studio. I wouldn't read too much into that.

Knowing that i was expecting a review of lots of new info.

In the end, its a rehash of the asp apparent visit, with only 1 thing new - the suggestion that dungeons are instanced.

Aventurine are experts at dangling the carrot hehe. Will be interesting to see these other visits posted (i hope).

Strange, All the guys in the pics look related and wouldn't yellowbeard show some sort of actual technology if he wanted to prove the authenticity of the project? A computer, a screen, a programmer programming, something, anything? Why only 3 pics? and of nothing basically. I also wonder why the aventurine graphics in the 3rd pic are actually composed of 2 stickers, maybe there's a good reason, but based on the fact there are such useless pictures, this makes it look even more fake. Could you be paying 20 employees and have a sign that looks like that representing your company? If you're legit? Dunno, but looks like they rented some conference room and put up their sign and took pics. The sign with the aventurine sticker is shiny, for some places they write on a a board that a room is going to be occupied and/or by whom in marker, then wipe it off when they're done, if you notice there's marker over the black keypad which would happen if you were keying in a number and happened to keep the marker used on the board in your hand. Hey, If they really want to prove their veracity, after 7 years I hear, gonna take a bit more. Maybe its just a scam. In Greece the government subsudizes mmo development and if you say you're making one you can guarantee yourself a yearly income for a half a decade or more, so its a possibility.

"Okay, first off let me tell you that I agree that EQ2 is nothing but crap.

I havent played WOW yet but I have been playing the beta of Dark and Light for about 3 months now.  I can't release much info on the game as it is still in beta, but here's just a clue:

EQ2 even after its release doesn't even come close to the sheer gaming quality of the beta of Dark and Light.  The game is running very smooth already and only after big changes do some things get a little buggy or choppy.  Then they fix it like within the hour.

The fighting and character animations in Dark and Light are beyond belief.  Smooth, fun to watch and varying attacks are a sore for tired same ol mmo eyes.  What I mean is if you do a certain type of attack one time, the next ten times you do the same attack, the animations can change every single time on the same exact attack!

The world is so huge and beautiful and fun to explore it adds a whole new element never before seen in any mmo before. Trust me, you will actually want to go explore and discover this world. And doing so by dragon is unbelievable.

Dark and Light isn't another treadmill mmo. The devs actually care about putting out not only the biggest mmo ever, but also want to put out the best quality mmo ever. And it is very close to completion. Expect the best fanstasy mmo ever made when Dark and Light hits the stores. You won't be disappointed.  Trust me it puts every other mmo to shame, and is going to set the new standard that all other future mmos will be measured by. This is no hype, this game is going to redifine the definition of an mmo. Prepare for the biggest addiction of your life should you buy it. I feel Radlin's pain too, poor kid already got shafted, and Adventurine's tactics are throwing red flags for him.  I wish everyone would learn to take a more third-person perspective on this and stop attacking each other so blatantly.  Radlin and people like him, are here trying to help and critize those they can't convince (stupid-too, the latter, that is), and everyone who's trying to defend the game's doing so, mostly ignorantly. No offense, but there isn't much visual evidence on the game other than a shitload of "scenic" screenshots.

It's not that either of you are wrong, or right...One side will be...Unless the game's crap, then we all lose.  But really, try to understand everyone's position before going on the rabid-rampage.  Just a note too, to Radlin, I never put in pre-orders for games, I let others find out how good, or crappy a game is...So I won't be scammed if that's what's going to happen.  Praytell it isn't.

Why would Darkfall be a scam?

With offices filled with 20+ developers, with people seeing and playing the game, with all the released media, and with the publishing deal - how could anyone possibly call it a scam?

You will not get scammed because you don't have to pay to beta or test the game out. I think it is touching that you guys really worry for DF's investors but really...right now I would worry more about the AoC investors.

Best part is from Yellowbeard on the official forum saying that Tasos warned him about posting his visit. Tasos said there will be alot of freaks out there screaming at his house!

And someone thought that the pictures neede more computers to lok real. Thats the lamest thing i have ever heard. As if putting a few computers in a pic would make it more beliveble??? Then it would be a scam.

They dont have computers in the pictures because they dont need it. Not thier problem.

I hope not...Could you show a link where they say it'll all be free? I was under the assumption that you had to pay the monthly fees to be a part of the beta.

How come when they show pictures of devs at work all the trolls call them fake,  now the trolls complain that their are no photos?  Guess there is no winning.

Besides that some ok info,  we should find out what this game is soon.  I would not invest or pre order this game till more was shown,  but i also think jumping on all these conspiracy theories i insane.
