4 player split screen halo 3 with friends online vs other ppl is hilariously fun. I would definatly play a halo mmo if it was FPS/TPS, as still waiting on a good MMOFPS (not planet side) |

Hah the first Halo was horrible on the PC, decent on the Xbox. Halo 3 is clearly the best game in the series. Still gamews like CoD 4 are better, yet not as hyped. |

You just compared Star Wars, the number 1 top selling movie series ever, to Halo. Halo: The worst thought out FPS, most generic game play, made for the sheep who call themself "Gamers" and don't even own a PC. C'mon now... Seriously I have read all of the arguments in this thread and to say Halo is the GOD of FPS, makes you sound like a dick cheeseburger. You guys act like it was the first of its kind. You all know for a fact thats bullshit. If you enjoy to play it, whatever fine... I'll just pick on you a little bit. But to go all out like that, your really asking for a verbal beatdown. |

Halo = average FPS in a sea of sub standard FPS console shooters that was only popular because it was one of very few decent FPS titles to come out after Goldeneye for the N64. What's really funny is watching players from Halo 3 come over to CoD4...when CoD4 came out and the people who were playing it were teh ones that wanted to play an FPS of that type (a few bullets kill, no circle straffing) games were a lot of fun and you never saw people camping in corners waiting for kills...Then after a few months when the halo tards started migrating over to the game, you saw a massive amount of corner camping...Coincidence? I think not...Halo = a camper's fps that requires no real skill other than melee'ing at the correct time...How do I know this? Because I was skill level 45/50 when I stopped playing Halo 3...Why did I stop playing? Because at that high of a skill level, all it was was people camping in corners with shotguns, terrified that they would get killed and lose some of their precious skill rating. As for a Halo MMO...Meh...a good MMOFPS in a large persistant world is due...but there are many properties that would serve the concept better than stupid ass Halo. |

I'd play it, and so would everyone who played any of the Halo console games, all they need to do is make it 3rd person or 1st person perspective and they would be set. I mean, who wouldn't like to raid a Covenant ship? |

If you don't own an XBOX, it's just another FPS and while good, nothing special.
Call of Duty 4 It's played by more people on xbox live and takes actual skill, not just corner camping and meleeing and hoping that your internet connection is faster than the other persons |

Gotta agree with Draenor. CoD 4 beats Halo 3. Every game in the CoD series is better then Halo. Halo as an FPS isn't bad, it's just average. XBox Live has been the games life line. Only reason I have Xbox live is to play FPS games with my friends that don't play PC games. Time Splitters blows Halo away. Not sure how many people are familliar with that FPS. It was a PS2 game and it blew Goldeneye away if you ask me. The number of unlockables in that game kept me going, and the levels and weapons were a lot more fun imo. I've been expecting them to make a Halo MMO. It would def. be a hit on the console. |
