General Discussion

 Hey every one I just got a Xbox 360 and halo 3 (beat) and I was looking for some advice on games to get for it and why. So post your advice for me Thanks.

I would suggest call of duty 4 pretty imersive campaign and the mutiplayer is as good in a different way as halo.  I would also say gears of war just so you can be ready for the new one that looks amazing.

- Gears of War
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six vegas
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2
- Call of Duty 4
- Forza Motorsport 2
- Bioshock
- Mass Effect
- Virtua Fighter 5
- Project Gotham Racing 4
- Devil May Cry 4

There are lot more excellent games but these will probably keep you busy for a while

Games that are out for 360 that you should buy if you do not already own them on another console/PC:

Mass Effect

Gears of War

CoD4

Oblivion

Those are the only four games that I own that I consider "must haves" I have other games, but they aren't the kind of games that everybody and their mom needs to at least give a try.

hmm once I get my new projector bulb in Im gonna have to play you. Whats your favorite type?

Also full auto is pretty fun. imo Oblivion and Mass effect are must haves in the fps Gears of War, CoD4 and Bad Company online kicks ass and the story is kick ass and really funny.

My friends and I usually play either Team Deathmatch or Domination...though my buddy Josh is a huge fan of Search and Destroy, but I loathe that game mode due to the number of campers that play it...I've dubbed it Camp and Destroy whenever I'm talking to Josh...of course he disagrees and thinks that it takes more skill than any other game mode..bleh.
