Wow that sounds like something I would be highly interested in. I am going to have to look into this. Thank you both for the explanation.

I love the game, but like the OP I kinda want to see all of the game not just the good loot or exp ones over and over.

Yeah, I like the idea of those groups too. The only thing I didn't like about them is that they only meet up once per week and are not able to take on the raid content, which is arguably some of the best quests in game.

If this was pnp, a dedicated team would be great, because then the DM can design content around a group.

I'm with ya, my wizard has been level 7 for several months now due to inability to get groups, especially for quests that are new to me, which would be most of them since it's my first character. I haven't even logged into the game at least a month because of discouragement. I'm sure a bigger guild would help, but I really enjoy the atmosphere in my current guild even though it's gotten smaller and much less active.

On the other hand, I've been curious for a long time to join a permadeath guild. Even rolled a cleric just for that, but I figured I play DDO so casually anyway, and I'd play permie even more casually, that I shouldn't waste a permie guild's time.

Hi

You wouldn't be wasting anybody's time. We have a wide range of players in the PD guilds. Some are brand new to DDO, never even played non-PD, some have been playing since launch and know the quests inside-out.  Some play everyday, some play once a month, or even just pop in every other month.

Finding groups isnt just a problem with DDO its a problem with all MMOs......Its why almost every game now is built for soloing to max level if need be........ The problem is that many of us are treating MMOs as a single player game with Instant Messanger attached......Many of us enjoy chatting with other players and selling our wares to others but not grouping much anymore......
