i was doin some research on this game and i came across a website that said this game was to be released on october 30, 2008 im just wonderin if this is true?

plz, gimme the link to the website.  If they can hit up OB in korea (maybe simultaneous OB for here and there), OB here, and get enough polish on the game in 3 months, then yes i think it will be out on oct 30.  I doubt that will happen tho.  Maybe in leipzig, NCSoft will reveal that the game is nearly finished and ready for the USA market and they have been working on translation all this time without us knowing!  Im guessing by early next year it will be out.  Kind of a long way away, but im looking forward to the game.

I'm pretty sure that's going to be release date for Korea. Someone please clarify.

Korean OB should be "soonish" and as for NA/UE, Closed beta should start some time this summer with and early 2009 release.

that date was most likely from a website such as Amazon or Gamespot, or any other company that sells games(I am not saying that it is, just most likely) and the Deveopers hava said not to trust these websites, as they want to rake in money from pre orders. Wait for an official release date and see, I would love it to be that date though :)

Please look through all the threads before you make a new one, there was a thread about this already  october 30th was posted as the release date by Amazon.  That was a fake release date since even Korean version of AION does not officialy have a realese date. Yes Close beta phase 3 was started, but there is no date for Korean OB yet, because there might be CB phase 4 please check the official website at http://www.aiononline.com/us/.

Amazon has a release date of October for their pre-order games. So I am thinking sometime around that time frame unless there are some major issues during or after the Korean launch.

like I said, don;t trust Amazon or any other site like that, NCsoft have said that themselves. The dates were questimated to try and generate revenues through ore-orders, The release date is estimated by Dev's to be late this year early next year.

Closed beta should start in around a month in NA/EU with release sometime in early 09.
