despise list

1:  despise male players that use male name such as "Fred" as the character name while their character is a female gender.  exception is games like unreal tournament and infinity(windysoft)

2: despise who despise people that plays opposite gender.. it is a roleplaying for gods sake!

3: despise who always assume a female character is a real female in reality.

4: despise games that force players to role the same gender as their real life gender to the game. example "scions of fate" and i know one more but forgot.

5: despise zero character-apearence customization in a mmo. example 2moons and sword of the new world.

6: despise a fixed class-gender where we cant choose gender for every class. example archlord and last chaos.

7: despise pay-to-win type of mmo. example rohan, grand chase, drift city and just mostly korean mmos. ruin pvp badly.

8:  despise greedy game. to have more hair style option must pay real cash. to get power-ups that used to droped from a bodyguard now only avalible for reality cash. legally sell/buy in-game currency and characters.

9: despise crap sense of attacks impact such as lord of  the rings and WoW and melee attacks feels like slicing through wind like in everquest 2.

10: despise linear straight down, one road, one branch, one way street skill-tree such as lineage2 ect..

my assassin in age of conan is called bety his RP is an evil homosexual that wishes he was a woman, but as his lives in hyborea there is no technology for a sex change.

edit : I do strongly agree with 2 & 3 & 9, tho. strange thread this.

Where is the I despise Fc option?

Don't see 1 and 3 being such a big deal.

That just whatever they want to name, some name like "Joe" can be use in either gender.

Again, some people take everything seriously. Sometimes they wanna make out with someone in the game (weirdos imo) and find out they are same sex ( I usually lol hard if thats the case).

Those games usually in the "fail" bin, why despise?

Some race will looks weird with both gender. Female Chaos warrior in Warhammer world? Unless they are heroes. Those uber ugly female dwarf in EQ 1? No thanks

They are free to play and they need to make money somewhere. I still win races without paying ijji a penny in Drift City.

Games design, honesly I like that instead of the button smash in DDO or the crazy bored fest in AoC

LOL, I love your RP concept, it sounds great fun!

I can't see what's wrong with 'number 1' either. I have met several women that prefer to be called 'Fred' in real life, it's not that uncommon in the UK.

As for the other questions, I have never had a problem with whether the person I am speaking to in game is the same gender in RL. It rarely even crosses my mind, especially since many online games also allow you to play small furry animals.

Making too big a deal out of the gaming gender, 'issue'.

I don't think anybody really cares, to be honest. So long as the said person doesn't act like a tool with stupid names and annoying behavior, touting their female bodies. That being said, I prefer a "gender balance" in my games.. not all male, not all female, etc.

I don't care that much about the gender issue. Play male or female, or a furry animal, whatever. I don't know who you are in rl, and don't much care if your gender matches your character or not.

One thing that's really hard to get right is a name filter. Often times they filter out to much, but at the same time you don't want a bunch of Legolas, Legolaz, Ligolas, and so forth in the game. At least I don't. You also don't want names like Turd, or Turd Lover (a pair I saw in City of Heroes once), and of course you dont' really want names like Ikilledjoonewb! and other retarded leetness.

If your going to play a female in a MMORPG but your a male IRL, name yourself a manly name like Fred imo. Or atleast gives me a heads up, I mean I like to cyber on teh internetzzz, and I dont wish to do it with some dude.
