A gama ray burst can be seen billions of light years away.
A nuclear explosion emitts these rays. What did we start doing in world war 2? When did the sightings start?
Nasa observes gama ray burst in other solar systems and over galaxies (these I think are caused by super massive black holes that are active at the center of those galaxies).
Over 300+ planets have been found throughout our own galaxy. All the size of jupitor or larger. A new space telescope is going up that will be able to locate earth sized planets.
If I'm searching for life and have the ability to locate earth sized planets, and not just any life, but advanced life. One of the things I would look for would be signs of advanced technology such as nuclear power. If we found a planet that was detonating nuclear bombs we sure as hell would want to know who and what those life forms were, and if they pose any kind of a threat to us.
I don't think that it's far fetched to believe that somewhere out there intelligent life has been doing the same thing we have, looking for signs. They found it when we started testing nuclear bombs. They found it by monitoring planets for gama ray bursts. Possible. At least I believe that this has happened.
Ufo reports happened thousands of years before the atom bomb or any man made gamma rays
I don't think they did.
Creativety, imagination, creation are instinctual behaviors in humans.
I've never seen a hyroglygh that depicted aliens coming to earth that is widely excepted as genuine.
Ufo sightings are the product of the 40's. Mostly I hear that the cold war and the coming of the nuclear age were responsible for Ufo's and aliens in pop culture. They became glomourised in books and movies at the time. Just fiction.
I can't remember his name, but the guy that discovered the canals on Mars thought they were built buy aliens, they were remnants of ancient cities or something.
I also think that humans are incredibly intuitive. Some of the things we imagine aren't so much the product of creativety, but unknown understanding of what is, and possiblities. I think that we have a limitted ability to predict.
Also. Vulcanic eruptions, on massive scales I believe have the potential to cause a nuclear explosion. Vulcanoes I believe are neccesary for life. They release material into the atmosphere that create planets like earth. We have four in our system, and earth is similliar to all of them If I'm not mistaken. It's either venus or murcury ( the second planet) that would have easilly been our twin if it's atmosphere wasn't so toxic. I think that you increase the odds of life on a planet with more vulcanic planets similliar to early earth. They can share material, thus increasing the odds of neccesary components having suitable enviroments to grow. Life may not have begun on earth. It could have easily come from 2 other planets in our system. The start of our system would have been a very volitle time, with lots of explosions and super massive vulcanoes. We could have been sending out welcome beacons billions of years ago.
Imagine a world united in achieving a goal that would be the most profound event in all of intelligent life. Imagine finding a system that contains multiple planets just like our own. We will develope the technology to get thier; we know we can. Imagine when we get there and find intelligent life, civilizations. We wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.
Space is something. It is a fabric that can be manipulated. It consists of some material. I believe that it is possible to move along space by other means that do not exist within the ream of "time". (time doesn't exist) We will do this by manipulating the fabric of space, and so will other species.
I'm rambling.
I don't think ancient man was being visited by aliens.
I agree with many of your points that deal with time and physics. Although volcanic eruptions have nowhere near the power to produce radiation. Pressurized gas and lava doesnt have enough energy to split an atom, much less contain radioactive material.
The reason we have more UFO reports now is because
A.) There are more people in the world.
B.) Cameras, media, instant communication since the early 1900's
Although there have been MANY reports before this. But not shared to due technological reasons.

There is radioactive material in the earth and there would have been even more in abundance in a proto earth. I believe some of our elements are radioactive in nature.
Molecules give off gama ray bursts. There are a lot of molecules moving really, really fast when a super vulcanoe erupts. What if the vulcano was fuelled by multen nuclear material?
First pic. Spirit. Early representation of a ghost. Unless the artist told someone what it was then it's only speculating. It's like seeing shapes in things. A dog in a cloud. Imagination is an instinct.
Most civilizations develope a belief system built on the sun. Holly figures tend to have a connection to it. Someone depicts this by placing a man in what could be a sun and giving him power over it. The sun rises and falls, it's streaking across the sky represents it's movement. And again, unless the artist tells you what they were conveying you can only guess.
No varifiable date means I'll assume it's not genuine.
I thought Aborigine's had thier own spiritual beliefs. Looks like ghosts, or spirits.
I would have to examine that painting myself. Looks to me like a leaf, or an olive.
What's the writing on the last one say?
