WAR (Warhammer Online)

And I gotta say, I honestly could not tell if i was watching gameplay from WoW or WAR.  The graphics, the pet commands, hell even the party interface and NPC target-faces looks the same.

I have to agree with ya there...you cant compare a game with a game from a simple video...it's like saying hamburgers are discusting when you're 3yrs old, (I personally like hamburgers :P) but when you try it you think it's WAY better than you thought and you want more, then instead of looking at it like all that pudding mush baby crap you look at it like a mans food...MEAT! WoW is McDonalds and WAR is a world famous bar that has been designed for years while WoW just put whatever was on the market and dumbed it down...

because an AoC player coming to the WAR forums to post how its exactly the same as WoW is... so new.  The troll has arrived and now prepare to see the fans attack...

Im not talking about content, or how fun the game will be. I'm sure it will be a blast.  What I am saying is that it looks very similar to WoW.  A lot of people, myself included, do not like the cartoony feel of WoW.  Everything in this game screams WoW, from the interface, character models, to the movement and combat.  Lets just say they both look like hamburgers to me.

Heh...I never tohught of that since you said it...would make sense since someone from AoC would say that, the graphics arent OMG PWNZ! Kung Fu Action Jesus himself made it! then that means that it's WoW...sad....

Lol someone from AoC?  You people act as if its a different race of people that play AoC.  And I never said anything about the graphics being poor, or not like AoC.  I said that WoW and WAR graphics are very similar.  If you cant see the resemblance then you are in denial.

Umm....I'm in denail? Okay hold on lemme find some screenies....and like I said it has the same 'feeling' thats all thats similiar...but saying I'm in denial is alittlle well...off...and yes, people from AoC are pretty much a different species in a MMO, most people just joined because it had good graphics, boobies, and a 'different' not good combat system, yes its different not in a bad way but not in a good way...

Alright err....as you can see the WAR's orc looks clearly pwnage and he looks like he'd actually be an 'orc' and by that someone who's actually brutal. WoW's orcs fingers arent even clearly figured correctly. And they look like they're just green humans who are mutants basically...

do you know why? WARHAMMER has always had this style..and Blizzard literally ripped off the graphical art of WOW from WARHAMMER. Why should WAR have to change because WOW "borrowed" their art style, which has been around since the 80s

I like the graphics... and I like WAR, sad that choppas got took out, even though im gonna be a black orc.

But ummm i can see the resemblance... WAR is much better details and the actual models look nothing like wow, but its kind of the same cartonish looks, except for WAR mixes some photorealism with it, if that makes sense.

Like a fusion of cartoon and realistic.
