My head is bleeding after i hit my head and its swollen and shit and I fizzy dizzy and sick and I'm just wondering if I should go hospital or if i'll be ok cause I don't wanna waste their time and look like a idiot if it's nothing. Just wondering on how do you know if you got concussion?

Just don't go to sleep for a while and you will be fine.

You need to go to the hospital.  Taking the advice of "don't sleep and you'll be fine" is probably the worse advice anyone can give you.

Being dizzy and sick as well as a swollen head is a sign of a concussion.  Concussions can be mild where they monitor you throughout the night or it can be bad where you collapse a vessel and get a stroke.

Have someone take you to a hospital.  They can CAT scan your head ot make sure you are ok. 

Don't take the advice of "dont sleep and you'll be ok."  That's horrible.  If you go to the hospital and you turn out fine then you have the peace of mind you got it check.  If it's worse, then you just prevented a bunch of long term problems.

That's generally an indicator, I vomited 20-30 times when I had a concussion (knee+eye=fail). Go see a doctor.

You won't feel any better if you sleep anyway, you'll probably just wake up in a short time.

If your head feels consistently "fizzy dizzy" for more than a few minutes after blunt head trauma, then you probably have a concussion...when I had a concussion it felt like I literally had clouds inside of my head, clouds that sorta kept brushing up against the sides of my head and making it feel like there was cotton candy in there...I know, it's a weird explanation, but it felt really weird.

Go to the hospital.

I had concussion a couple of times and I was dizzy and nauseated for a few days or so.   I'm pretty sure I remember the symptoms lasting much less than a week.  I even worked a couple days after. The worst concussion I had came from something that didn't even seem to hit me all that hard, too, although it did knock me out.  I did go to the my GP both times but he really didn't say much except I had a concussion.  You never know, though, the one time I DON'T go, it'll probably all go horribly wrong.  Better safe than sorry, I guess.   Unless of course, you are completely sure that there is absolutely nothing in there you want to keep - then don't bother! 

I don't know if you have a concussion, but I definitely have a hernia - ouch!  Fortunately, that's not quite as serious as a concussion.

Are you sure about that, hernias can require surgery.
