so im looking for a knew mmo to play and so far eve online looks very promising.

 

 

i just want to make one thing clear....   Can you pk in this game? that is can i attack anyone i want to at any time i want to no matter where i am? ( if there are a few safe zones thats ok, like a bank or something...)

There are safe zones, yes.

There are also ample spaces where you can pk to your heart's content.  *grin*

There's a half-dozen threads on this topic in the EVE section of this forum already, I'm pretty sure, but I'm already here so I'll answer it anyways.

Yes, you can attack anyone at any time, as long as they are not docked inside a station. In the secure areas, attacking someone unprovoked will bring the police down on you, so it's not usually a good idea, but sometimes people "suicide gank" anyways. There are no game mechanics stopping you from attacking anyone you want, even if it is obviously a bad idea.
