Moon-walker claims alien contact cover-upJuly 24, 2008 12:01am And he says extra-terrestrials have visited Earth on several occasions - but the alien contact has been repeatedly covered up by governments for six decades. Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.' He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head. Chillingly, he claimed our technology is "not nearly as sophisticated" as theirs and "had they been hostile", he warned "we would be been gone by now". Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission. "I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real," Dr Mitchell said. "It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it. "I've been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it's been happening quite a bit." Dr Mitchell, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics claimed Roswell was real and similar alien visits continue to be investigated. He told the astonished Kerrang! radio host Nick Margerrison: "This is really starting to open up. I think we're headed for real disclosure and some serious organisations are moving in that direction." Mr Margerrison said: "I thought I'd stumbled on some sort of astronaut humour but he was absolutely serious that aliens are definitely out there and there's no debating it." Officials from NASA, however, were quick to play the comments down. In a statement, a spokesman said: "NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe. 'Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.' =============================== |

Not such a great revelation...but I congratulate him for his courage.
Only an american moron would believe that we're alone in the universe! |

I think there must be lots of life out there. I just don't think they have visited us - ever. What about all the countless sightings and stories people have told about abduction? I kind of look at all of those sightings and wonder if it's more believable that many people are just seeing things. It only takes one of those sightings to be true to prove they were here. I also look at all the ancients stories about things in the sky and even some of the creation stories and could see where they could be describing visitors. I'm not saying I believe either way, I just think that it's a very intriguing thing to ponder. And with the tons of evidence and individuals with stories it makes it even more interesting. I've wondered sometimes too if it could be future humans coming back in time and observing us. That would explain the different kinds of ships. As time in the future goes on, the technology would advance and the new late model time traveling automobiles would come out from the manufacturers. =============================== |

They're real. I had a close encounter almost 4 years ago now. Basically, a silent bright blue right triangle of light flew over my car at 5mph and about 40 feet off the ground. It then followed me for 2 miles before taking off like a bullet and dissapearing miles away into a "vanishing point" in less than a second. It also did not emit light. Think of a light bulb that was bright to look at but the rest of the room remained pitch black. It did not emit light but it was bright to look at. Alien technology to be sure. End of story. P.S. The thing was as big as a house. I sometimes forget to include all the details because every time I think about it im right there again and I see everything fresh. It left quite an impression on me. Im getting lots of cysts on my body now. Starting to wonder if I got irriadiated or something. Ain't got no health insurance. |

If I was an astronaut I would totally tell lies about alien sightings for two reasons:
If it's not true, then NASA and the US Gov can't do anything to him for leaking secrets that don't exist It's great publicity and money
There's two reasons why I don't take stuff like this seriously. Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced. |

Yes, I'm calling him a liar. The only time I believe what someone tells me is if I have reasonable evidence proving it...I'm not asking for 100% irrefutable proof, but with this alien stuff, they have nothing to go on but their own word and the testimony of a few people who say that they have had an encounter...I'm sorry but i'm not convinced. Theres more documentation for the UFO phenomena than the holocoust. www.ufocasebook.com << On average 5 reports daily, most with pictures or videos. But thats not even the half of it.... Look at my previous post. A interview with buzz aldrin saying the same thing....

A gama ray burst can be seen billions of light years away. If I'm searching for life and have the ability to locate earth sized planets, and not just any life, but advanced life. One of the things I would look for would be signs of advanced technology such as nuclear power. If we found a planet that was detonating nuclear bombs we sure as hell would want to know who and what those life forms were, and if they pose any kind of a threat to us. I don't think that it's far fetched to believe that somewhere out there intelligent life has been doing the same thing we have, looking for signs. They found it when we started testing nuclear bombs. They found it by monitoring planets for gama ray bursts. Possible. At least I believe that this has happened. Wish Darkfall would release. |

Millions upon millions of eye-witness accounts (many of them in very large groups!) from impeccable sources - astronauts, fighter pilots, Presidents and Prime Ministers - and clearly irrefutable video evidence is still not powerful enough to penetrate the thick sculls and hazy thinking of the common american ding-a-ling! I don't think they did. Creativety, imagination, creation are instinctual behaviors in humans. Ufo sightings are the product of the 40's. Mostly I hear that the cold war and the coming of the nuclear age were responsible for Ufo's and aliens in pop culture. They became glomourised in books and movies at the time. Just fiction. I can't remember his name, but the guy that discovered the canals on Mars thought they were built buy aliens, they were remnants of ancient cities or something. I also think that humans are incredibly intuitive. Some of the things we imagine aren't so much the product of creativety, but unknown understanding of what is, and possiblities. I think that we have a limitted ability to predict. Also. Vulcanic eruptions, on massive scales I believe have the potential to cause a nuclear explosion. Vulcanoes I believe are neccesary for life. They release material into the atmosphere that create planets like earth. We have four in our system, and earth is similliar to all of them If I'm not mistaken. It's either venus or murcury ( the second planet) that would have easilly been our twin if it's atmosphere wasn't so toxic. I think that you increase the odds of life on a planet with more vulcanic planets similliar to early earth. They can share material, thus increasing the odds of neccesary components having suitable enviroments to grow. Life may not have begun on earth. It could have easily come from 2 other planets in our system. The start of our system would have been a very volitle time, with lots of explosions and super massive vulcanoes. We could have been sending out welcome beacons billions of years ago. Imagine a world united in achieving a goal that would be the most profound event in all of intelligent life. Imagine finding a system that contains multiple planets just like our own. We will develope the technology to get thier; we know we can. Imagine when we get there and find intelligent life, civilizations. We wouldn't be leaving anytime soon. Space is something. It is a fabric that can be manipulated. It consists of some material. I believe that it is possible to move along space by other means that do not exist within the ream of "time". (time doesn't exist) We will do this by manipulating the fabric of space, and so will other species. I'm rambling. I don't think ancient man was being visited by aliens. Wish Darkfall would release. |
