While we are on the top 5 kick, how about top 5 MMORPG Moments.  Those times or events that just stick in your head and keep you coming back and buying every MMO to hit the shelf.

1.  SWG - Pretty much the whole first couple months of the game.  But the moment that sticks out the most was opening up my weapon shop south of Coronet, undercutting the Master Weaponsmith market, and having people camp out at my store waiting for me to fill up my vendor with different guns.  The whole economy and crafting was awesome.  (Also fun was placing mines in front of my store and blowing up Imperials that would come strolling by to my store.)

2. Multi-Galaxy Drop - Planetside - What an awesome game in the first few months after release.  I remember my first week, not really sure what to do, joined an outfit and we organized a multiple gal drop on a contested base, jumping out of that ship with 30 other players and taking a base was simply awesome and something I won't forget.

3.  Exploring Middle Earth - LOTRO - Playing this game, with the atmosphere, music, visuals, really puts you in the world of Tolkien, and as a huge LOTR fan it was amazing to see all of these areas come to life in a fun story-based game.

4. First Molten Core Raid - WoW - lot of wiping, lot of arguing, lot of working together, but taking down a boss with 39 other guildies was pretty fun.

5. First Beheading - AoC - ya ya, everyone is on the AoC hate train at the moment but taking out my sword and taking someone's head off with those graphics, something I had no idea was in the game, was awesome.  I remember dropping my jaw and saying "Holy Shit."

I never played EQ, UO, DAOC - so I'm guessing some of you will have moments from those games in your list.

Fun topic!

1. Filling up my backpack with so much ore in Ultima Online that I couldn't walk.

2. Selling jade bracelets in Everquest's Greater Feydark with the line 'How many times would you have lived if you had 10 more mana?  Electrum Jade Bracelets 2 plats.'

3. Trading a Green Jade Broadsword for a FBSS to give to my friend, Riak the Dwarven paladin.

4. Soloing Uldaman in WoW to find out that I couldn't finish the dungeon without two more players.

5. Making a dragon in Horizons.

Lol @ #1.

I remember building a house, next to the mountains and I could mine ore while in the protection of my house then smelt it.  (The bugs you could exploit)  Lol

Top 5?

1. Getting accepted for the ALPHA test for Ultima Online... (We're going WAYYY back!)

2. Playing Utima Online for 5 years, meeting Lord British... (That's up there with #1)

3. Remembering when you had to pay for Shadowbane... when it was first out, watching a group of people go at each other, killing one another... then when they were done, I ran up and killed every single one resting...  That was so mean. :)

4. Running for hours while having griefers (The ones I killed above) chase me all over... that was fun!

5. Getting EQ2 to finally run on ultra high detail with 90fps. :)

Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?

1. Mankind Online:
I had no idea what an MMO was, all I heard was that this game had no limit on Multiplayer. Finishing and scrimming with my clan on Homeworld, Mankind looked like the perfect evolution for my friends and I. We travelled in our little ship for over 2 nights before finding our own system. Building and populating this system was an extremely rewarding moment. What start as 5 little ships flying around space ended up with over 30K ships and carriers ready to tear appart any enemie in sight.

2. Star wars Galaxy:
Starting up as a small guild to one day become the most dominating guild on our server. My best moment however was when we were just a bunch of friends living in a little village and killing people in Theed. We also had entire nights where we were trap in our guild hall unable to go outside because of a plain cat hunter hahaha…

3. Earth and Beyond:
I was part of the community since the beginning. A loyal CNC fan and a Loyal Westwood fan. The very first day I entered the game world and actually meeting these devs and community managers at the earth station was really cool. Westwood knew how to make you feel part of a community.

4. EVE Online:
Well, although I do play a new character these days, I was there when the great wars between all the major alliances occurred. I don’t think I’ll ever see something as massive as this now. Today, we have goonfleet taking over but seriously, it doesn’t compare to the great war we had in the past.

5. RTCW: TWL BETA
While not an MMO, it’s important to see that our community was as efficient if not as big as an MMO. Instead of meeting in a city, we all gathered on IRC and then went in a game together. Anyway, playing the most important game in a season while your game is diffused live on WOLFTV and shoutcasted by Warwitch is quite cool.

1. SWG - Pressing the jump key at some random moment going over a hill, my char got stuck in a tree. For 15 mins entire party cracks up laughing at some of the worst tree puns in history, eg guess I'll log, no don't leaf, haven't you twigged, I'm rooted to the spot etc etc.

2. World of Warcraft - My first character hit level 70 whilst leading a cow as part of a quest. 70 levels of struggling grind to end up with a bovine. Hardly the most exciting boast of the game but we didn't half laugh. Friends still remind me of it even now, no matter what the MMORPG I'm in.

3. Pirates of the Burning Sea - Red Tide quest - I didn't know at the time it should be done as a group, near wet my pants when I saw the number of ships heading towards me.

4. Eve Online - The first day I had enough skill points to pilot and enough money to buy a Battleship. Awesome moment.

5. City of Heroes - Gaining the flight power for the first time. Wheeeeeeeee

Ultimately, though, it's a strong community that keeps me coming back for more

What we need is a new MMORPG set in magical fantasy world, where you can fight dragons, harpies and wolves, you can choose to be things like elfs, wizards, orcs and...Hang on, hasn't that been done a before?...Urrmmm yyyyes, but this time it will be really really different, honest

Ask a question and you are stupid for 30 seconds, never ask and you are stupid for life.

AC, put tons of points on an alt char on Darktide in Run and Jump and Sword with some life magic thrown in...ran super fast killing people and they couldn't get me...they would cast a spell I would doge (none of that lame autoseek guided missiles) or jump right over the spell and start attacking them...it was. If they had melee weapons, since I was fast i would keep running behind them and attacking them.

I killed many :) Tons of fun
