This is the second time the Enquirer has accused John Edwards of cheating on his wife.   Last year while he ran for president and she is suffering from cancer - he was busy making a baby with another woman!  If it is not true.  You'd think this powerful figure would sue the bejeezes out of the Enquirer for messing with him and his family.   I mean...they don't say it is an alleged affair...the Enquirer claims it is "an affair" and a baby was recently born to this woman.   If he doesn't dispute it by taking the Enquirer to court...then we must assume he is guilty.   That would make him one of the worst husbands and fathers on earth.   His daughter went on TV shows and went to colleges trying to help him get elected.   His wife is dying of cancer.   What is he doing?   He is busy with this other woman.

People actually believe the Enquirer?  I am pretty certain they don't even have a fact checker.  Just a bunch of people sitting outside a mental institute ready to jump on any possible story.

Actually...the Enquirer has been sued a lot recently and a couple of the lawsuits almost bankrupted them.    If this is not true...John Edwards could do us all a favor and sue the snot out of them and take them for all they are worth.  I mean they are smearing his name, his family, his political career.   Many famous people have recently won huge settlements against the Enquirer for pulling stuff like this.   Why isn't John Edwards doing the same?

Isn't the Enquirer one of the tabloids that Will Smith used to keep track of alien activities here on Earth in Men in Black?

Yes...same  one that is reporting that a "Moon-Walker" says aliens exist and are visiting earth.  I am more likely to believe that Edwards is having an affair though...at least that is believable!

You believe the Enquirer but you don't believe a scientist that has actually been in space?

Some affairs last for years and often emotional bonds are built that are just as strong (or stronger) as the bonds between the person and their spouse.  We don't know the terms that Mr. and Mrs. Edwards built their relationship on so we really can't judge can we?

Sometimes people fall out of love...

Sometimes people are pressured to marry a person they don't love...

Sometimes people latch onto the first person that notices them and they don't let go out of fear of being alone...

Sometimes people find a better match for themselves after they commit to a person and resent the person they are with for not being the one they want to be with...

Sometimes a person will marry for a sense of security...

Sometimes people lack the courage to end something they know they should...

Doesn't that really depend on what the two parties are trying to tell you?  I'll believe a scientist about his field of expertise over the inquirer, but I'll most certainly believe a tabloid over a scientist over who Britney Spears is sleeping with this week.

You believe a magazine that writes about how Jesus and Elvis are alive, married, and working at Burger King together?

Well don't forget, John Edwards is a trial lawyer and made his fortune by suing companies
