You will be able to try this game game before you spend a penny. What else do you really need to know ?

When is the release date?  That's the only important thing to really know at this point.

2008 is pretty clear : / even tho that may or may not happen ... depending on how playtesting goes.

Release dates come in the following format.

MM/DD/2008 or DD/MM/2008 if one is in Europe like Aventurine.

2008 doesn't cut it.

Instead of giving a spacific date it gives them room to adjust instead of keep missing deadlines.

You guys complain they missed deadline so they stop giving them and know your asking for deadline dates again?

what do you want missed dates or room for them to adjust then give the exact date they are pretty sure of?

even tho the 2008 release date can still be delayed but a release date instead of a beta date gives me a pretty positive outlook on playtesting starting AT least

LMFAO. Yeh, they say that they'll have an open beta for this POS for a "few weeks" HAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

Trust me, if they actually do open their POS game up to an open beta, and even listen to HALF of the feedback they get of all the gawd damn bugs and problems they'll have that went unspotted with their "in-house" testing... they will have to come back and say "Sorry, it won't release in 2008 and probably not in 2009 but it'll be done when it's done"

Then ofcourse all the Darkfall fanbois will eat up every word and empty promise from their "God Tasos" once again.

And if Adventurine ever realizes that they MUST get pre-order money in some way, shape, or form to even have a chance at recovering some of their investment money, then I guarantee you that all you Fanatics and people worshiping "God Tasos" will be on here defending and telling us all exactly why we should give them our credit card numbers months before we even have a specific release date, lol.

In the end, it's just the same as Mourning. (Except that Mourning actually DID release). Fans eat up one guys EVERY word like its gospel no matter how much people who have seen this same shit all before warn them against it.

They'll do "in-house" distribution many of you fans say. It's all in house their own way... Uh huh. Mourning did the same thing. There were photos of them making copies of their POS game on store bought blank CDs. LMFAO. I guess that Adventurine will probably follow in that greatness.

I guarantee you that this game, in whatever state it is in... is a total piece of shit.
Think about it. Why else would they have to do only "in-house testing" and "in-house this" and "in house that". What are they so scared of after so many years in development?? And why are they so VAGUE about everything they say, from the people who came in and they allowed to see their game to their freakin' release date?? Think about it people. It's common sense.

I'm just suprised by the nerdrage you got in. You're jumping on the bandwagon and repeating stuff that people here have been discussing from years, thinking you're gonna prove something. Chill, kid.

to date, any game that has worked in secrecy has released in very poor shape. You can make all the excuses you want about darkfall, but for what ever reason they have choosen to work on their game without letting the public as a whole have access to the current state of the game. With every other developer of MMOs thus far that pattern has meant that the game was no where ready to go live. Not learning from that is foolish.

this was the same argument made about AOC that the fanboies kept ignoring. A huge diappointment and 60 bucks later some of them have gotten the point.

So you say that it's better to hype up a product and then release it unfinished? That's how it should work? Yeah
