One button? I don't know something sounds a little strange if i was the FAA and FBI i would have to take a closer look at this one, she nearly killed 15 people including herself. Either that or the safety procedures of parked airplanes need to be revamped. |

Believe it or not, starting an aircraft is as easy or easier than starting a car. Back when I first got in the security business I used to pull a detail at a local private airstrip and got to get up close to plenty of small aircraft including commuter craft like in the article. Hit a switch and fire it up. Some have a toggle style which are relatively easy to accidentally start by bumping, compared to a push button style which has to be held down for a amount of time. |
