Yep, I remember pretty well the same members behind the great "Mourning" game hiding behind several different company names as well.

If they were to only merge and create the new game "The Mourning after Darkfall", man oh man. They could put their great worlds together and have like "2 moons". Two realms in one! And just think of all the freakin' bullshit they could spoon feed their helpless, common sense deprived fans! They could feed them screenshots and more videos for another 8 years!! And not a one of them would even question or ask why Darkfall never released, but would simply be mesmerized by all the great possibilities that would be {insert drumrolls} "The Mourning after Darkfall!"

According to Tasos this is going to be a comprehensive video using actual Darkfall game play footage.

Tasos first mentioned they were “looking at releasing” this video “ in the next few weeks” 2 months ago in the May update.

2 months later in the recent July update he said they would be releasing the video next month, so we can expect the video sometime in August.

Tasos has said that the video is not on there immediate priorities and they are busy working on the game etc.

But 2 ½ - 3 1/2 months is ample time for the developers to produce this video, if they fail to produce it after 3 months or if it does not comprehensively demonstrate Darkfalls features and content using actual game play footage then they have set themselves up for a publicity and community relations disaster in my opinion.

If they cant make a comprehensive game play video of their feature complete MMO that’s currently in internal beta over a period of 3 months, then its highly unlikely in my opinion that they actually have a feature complete MMO that’s currently in internal beta testing, let alone one they will be capable of successfully launching in 5 months time.

If the video, after 3 months does not comprehensively demonstrate Darkfalls proposed features and content, but perhaps only shows more fighting, mounts, and ships then it will irrefutably demonstrate that fighting, mounts and ships is compressively all that Darkfall has to offer.

Or that 5 months before launch, fighting, mounts and ships is all that the developers are ready to comprehensively show us, either way a strong indication about the true level of progress that has been achieved.

Before anyone makes pre-emptive excuses on behalf of the developers or any personal attacks or justifications for why they think this video might not be relevant.

Please make sure you are aware of the definitions of the words “next month”, “comprehensive” and “game play footage”.

And of course familiarize or reacquaint yourself comprehensively with Darkfalls proposed feature and content list, the FAQ on the official website is a very convenient general overview.

In my opinion its understandable that its taking months to make this video, to comprehensively demonstrate all of the features, content and game play listed on Darkfalls official FAQ is going to require a substantial video of considerable length.

Of course there is the other possibility that they don’t have anything we have not already seen that’s ready to be comprehensively demonstrated with game play footage yet, and they are just stalling for time, but we will see, perhaps in the next update in a "couple of weeks", or sometime later in August.

Oh boy.

I really should be ashamed for having this much FUN making fun of a game and all the fans who have been anxiously awaiting it for so many years.

even tho im not saying nayone is wrong but i dont have enough proof anyway just  a bunch of asumptions.

i do have enough proof that there is a game in dev and they are at least going to try to release it this year.

As far as me making new member names. Uh... NO. I have been wrong plenty of times in my years on these forums. And I have admitted to being wrong. With this same name. I have publicly admitted to being wrong here several times. And should I be wrong about your great game, I also will not hide. But if you're wrong... we ALL know that "XXeon" will be nowhere to be found, don't we? ;-)

they have shoed ships and mounts there a few things im pretty sure there not going to show in a vid.

But it will be at least a 200 plus battle siege at the very least. hopefully character creation too..
