Who else enjoys this magical time of year out there?

Been watching since the early/mid 70s. My Dad used to work many weekends as an autoworker back then, so my Mom would watch games since there really wasnt anything else on.

By the age of 7 or so I was hooked for life.

Fav team is the Michigan Wolverines(although dont really follow as much college except for them).

Fav league is NFL of course. Long time Steeler fan(since 70s). Also root for my home state Lions(ewww), and the Rams a little.

Looking forward to watching the games this fall, and of course fantasy football. Be either our 12th or 13th season in a local league with 7 RL friends.

Anyways to my fellow fans...here is hoping the players on your favorite teams avoid any serious injuries this year. That is always the worst thing about the game... Seeing these guys get really messed up.

Broken bones heal...being put in a wheelchair for life doesnt.

It was fun to watch the city of Denver go EMO last year after the Broncos Didn't even make the playoffs.

Yes, football is the shit, it's the only sport I actually follow and watch.

My favorite team is the Detroit Lions. It's kinda like watching NASCAR, you know there's gonna be a big crash, you're just not sure when it's gonna happen. That, and they tend to crash in a new and novel way. The only team in the NFL that can consistently pull defeat from the jaws of victory.

Yes, I am a Detroit Lions fan, a truely sick and demented type of football fan. We like our punishment right after church on Sunday.

I'm a Colts fan myself, family is mostly from Indiana and it's where my dad immigrated to when his family came to this country (also a Notre Dame fan)

As long as Soccer fans don't mind it when I go into their threads telling them that their game is for sissy girls and then laugh as the Rugby fans talk out of their asses about padding...I don't actually even know if you're a soccer fan, but fair is fair

I know this is primarily about NFL football, but to me college football is way better.  So I'll just say -

GO BUCKS!

The date is Sept 13, Ohio State vs USC.  Mark your calenders.  The two teams will probably be ranked #1 - #2 in the nation.  And now the game takes on even greater significance after the remarks of one Carson Palmer.
