Muffins relax please. Aventurine never annunced the thing about audio visual. I believe taso said thats for another time or something like that. But we do know If everything goes according to plan they will be distributing darkfall in Eu at least.

As of right now it looks like it will. Give it another 5 months or so Then you can try again but really you have no proof of your truths.

A sign up date doesnt mean your somebody : /.

I tech wasnt saying you called him a nobody but someone else did that wants this gmae offen mmorpg.com too. Its much easyer to put you guys all in the same basket.

SO what does it to you if it comes out or not, does it shorten your life, kill your family and ends your world? Stop being another boring person trying to find every little topic and trying to fire them up thinking it will make you look good. Until the offical announce they are cancelling the  game, there is no real proof this game still isn't in developement that why they decided to to keep it under watch atm, so go out and find a real life instead bi***ing every little things on the internet.

I didnt mean to say you called taso a nobody i believe COOR. did ANd drac is the one stating Vets are always right. Your the one and drac thats wants it removed. for what reason. Because you tells the truths K yea right.

I honestly dont see why there is so much hate for darkfall.  Look at all the games releasing early, cut content, and some are about to die from all the bugs and boredom(AoC)

HL2 is a FPS that took 6 years to develop with a much bigger team than adv.  DF is a MMO that got revamped 2 years after the start.

Its absolutely idiotic to think that a game like DF is never comming out.  They have nothing to prove it except how long its been in production.  I honestly think you need help if you think a game is never comming out with a high production value website, screenshots, videos, 30 or so recent dev journals, all the lore and work they put into it, people visiting the studio and writing about their visit  ect.

Right now DF is the only game that holds true to the "M M O R P G" title.  It ressurects old UO style gameplay and when it comes out it will blow all other MMO's out of the water. 

If a game is amazing, you dont need hype and advertisement , it will sell itself.  Apparently the people at funcom thought hype makes a game funner

I already given up on getting actuall facts from you coor catizone drac. Pol has gotten close but he doesnt have all the info needed to really back up the info he supplied. But hey at least i actully got you to give up.

As long as taso is being fairly honest the game will do fine. and be a great mmorpg.

These guys will NEVER answer a direct question. Never. Truth is... They have NO answers. Their responses are all exactly the same. They shout "TROLL!" and demean anyone who hasn't taken a sip of the coolaid.

All they have ever had is the word of an UNKNOWN individual named Tasos, period. And surprisingly, that seems to be ALL they need, LOL!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch.

Next week begins the month of August.

Still no announcement of beta. No official publisher. No deal with any site for direct downloads. No system even in place to "invite" people for beta we know of. No actual IN GAME footage of anything resembling the many, many features this game states are FULLY FUNCTIONAL and tested. No article in ANY legitimate gaming magazine. No PREVIEW by any gaming site. No presense at E3.

Wheh... Got tired typing there for a second.

This game "may" actually come out. But... Here's my point.

How can even the most moronic individual on the planet NOT question all of this?

Somehow I don't see that this thread is "boring" if it's already approaching 100 posts. At least one person must find something entertaining about it. Umm, speaking of that, why exactly did you read atleast part of this thread and post here again? Out of sheer boredom? And to combat your 'no proof this game isn't in development' stuff, I also simply state that there is also no proof that this game WILL release and be the holy grail of mmo games and be the 'sandbox savior' that all mmo gamers have been dreaming of either. I also have full rights to bitch about anything I so desire, especially in forums. That's why forums are here and exactly why you can come here to bitch about me as you have done. {smiles}

Have i called you guys trolls? We are sick and tired of oyu guys saying things you have no idea or any proof what so ever.

I think everyone questions it but most of arent dumb enough to make assumptions and post them everytime df is mentioned.

  If he is being honest, then apparently there are super programs that can beta test your game for you without needing a true beta.  These "super bots" can apparently mimic actual game play provided by actual players and even simulate all the many stupid things these players can do.  How in gods name that is even possible is beyond me....since running a SINGLE debugger program in the background ran AoC's performance into the ground.  I can't imagine what running even 5 bot programs at once would do.  Never you mind that for optimal results they would need around 10-50K computers running these bots one at a time.

  Sounds like a hell of a waste of money compared to simply paying for the upkeep of one, single, beta server for an open beta and a decent closed one.

  The game WON'T be fine.  Something as professedly deep as this game is supposed to be would need twice the testing as the garbage these rollercoaster MMO's give us.  What Tasos is telling us is that he requires LESS testing than games that have under 1/3 the content.  Sure, you can RELEASE a game off just that.....it sure as hell doesn't mean its going to be GOOD, though.

I think your giving Df Ai to much credit. He said Helping. thats it dont make things up really.

Bots can stress a servr like real players. then the professional testers. find bugs that pop up Bots can find certain bugs but it pretty much has to be scripted.

You do remember Taso saying it will stay in playtesting as long as it needs to right? Meaning they wont release it if its not ready.

You guys really need to stop blowing what taso says way out of porportion.
