The devs originally said the nudity was to stay "true to the story".

Instead in every turn it's just a way to cheapen the game, in attempts to draw teenage boys..

The "Death never looked so Hot" ad is bloody awful & I resent seeing it every time my homepage opens up.

The old catch-phrase "You never forget your first beheading" was much more original & didn't rely on sexist cliches, this new ad just makes Funcom look desperate.

Last week FC closed every negative thread about AoC. Now they leave them most open. Why?

I think a large number of people have left, so now FC must keep everyone happy. Yes even the so called "troll".

People leave, thats why they make something like this "Death never looked so hot"... hope they add "when you swing your swords in slowmotion".  (very nice patch FC... very nice...idi!)

I have no idea what FC are doing right now with the game. But I have a feeling that if we had a camera over the office... then we would see chickens without heads runing around trying to "fix" the game. And can chickens without heads do that? Noooope...

They fucked it up at start and it's very hard to fix something like that.

And as to the ad, hell its better than the truth, but! Here's an ad to consider.

I haven't noticed any change in the level of moderation.  Of course I wasn't moderating for a few days (been sick with the flu) so I guess that could be why more negative threads have been open lately. 
 

Contrary to popular belief there is no conspiracy against people who do not like the game.  There are forum rules and those forum rules are how we moderate the Forums.  If people are unhappy with the moderation then they should review the rules and send a private message to Famine. 

In almost every case (there are some mistakes of course even the mods are human) the moderation was properly handled.  In most cases the person could of saved themselves moderation by using the "Search" function. 

I think the lack of use of the search button and people's feeling that it is necessary to repost moderated material are the two largest things I see moderation for.  Even more then Flaming.

I could give a rats ass about their forums. The game is a bug filled mess. Every patch has made things worse so far. It actually ran better the first week then it does now.

The ad campaign is my point of the crowd AOC is trying to pull in.

All the talk of being a mature game trying to make a game for adults is a total lie. Just another to stack on the many lies Failcom has already racked up.

Shame because AOC has a potentially fun combat system.

This game totaly insults the many good works of the original author.

Agreed. I kind of kept the opinion to myself but i think its a terrible campaign. Kind of reinforces those that say they used boobies to draw people in and then took them out as they caved in.

The game doesn't offer anything, but great graphics. Their slogan shows just how shallow the gameplay is. Perfect slogan, imo.

They reduced the size of the breasts just recently.

Lets sue funcon for false advertisement, again.
