As a matter of fact .... :)))) Wow regained audiance in the last 14 days. While this site only shows a trend (because the maker's program Census plus needs to be installed),... it shows a trend that the last 14 days played characters are again up... by at leats 5% again. It was 5.8 million charaters played ... now above 6.0 million (last summer of 07 it was even to 5.5 million). NOW anno July 2008 ! Warcraft is again on the rise people. Wheter you like it or not. :))) I'll predict more than 12 million by December this year after WotLK hits the market |

Maybe us old WoW players have a mental link, I have been seriously thinking of sub'n up again to get another 70 before WoTLK comes out. Seems like other people have beaten me to it. |

I have to confess, I've felt a slight pull back towards WOW. I quickly dismissed those thoughts and will be returning to EVE. But no doubt about it, remains the favorite game of my teenage son and his friends, and they are eagerly looking forward to playing more WOW when the expansion comes out.

i will confess i just returned too there are a few new servers online and now full of people starting over again so it is really nice to play again

Only 6 million active characters wow. That is a lot lower than I would of thought for the supposed accounts they report on being subscribed. |

I don't think it counts the subs in asia, though...I think its europe/North america...but I could very well be wrong.
I actually resubscribed a couple days ago...I had that urge to play WoW again |
