Ummmm... Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't see what's so bad about their answer. Looks like to me he/she was honest and straight forward. Also their answer could be taken out of context. It appears that there was some kind of ongoing conversation between said Mod and others. So... Don't really know what's going on here. |

Honestly be comlprehensive with these guys, they love the game prolly been waiting for it since the first mmo was made. Fc, the company that sucks at mmos get it, yet they hanged on. Then all the hype, they probably knew as muc has everyone about the big con. The game coems out they try to enjoy it and bam, most of the players start saying that even minesweeper is more fun, saying that its the worst realeased game that costed 50$ ( I agree about that). They still try to like the game but ppl keep on talking about getting their cash back and class action. I would really love to see Fc go down hard, and its products being sold to soe so the ppl at Fc really realised they failed. That would teach mmo making companies that serving us shit = sleeping under a bridge 5 months later. But volunteers are regular ppl and what are you supposed to do when most posts are trolls vs fanboys flamewars. |

Doesn't matter if he's 'working' (though some people WORK from HOME and can SET their OWN schedule, so his argument is out the window already) or just volunteering...he represents Funcom. If he's basically a fanboy with a pretty title and good grammar then he has no business moderating anything; his views are going to be skewed. Sounds like he was a little ticked that his post was 'ripped apart' and that's probably the only reason why he said what he did, but it's still not professional. |

On the contrary OP1, this is a thread that explains why so many frustrated ex-AOC fans find refuge in these boards (among others i guess). This "mod" in the original post is someone who has zero understanding about what customer service is. Yes, they can get frustrated. NO, they can NOT, never vent it on customers or let the frustration influence, enhance their decisions. And MOST importantly, they should never, ever, EVER tell this straight "in the face" of all the FC customers, after all the issues. That's just the definition of "UNprofessionalism". As someone having been alerted a few times, and even temp-banned in 1 or 2 cases on these boards, I think I can say w/o being dishonest, that modding on MMORPG boards is many classes above that of AOC forums. DB |
