This is the way the Darkfall ends Not with a beta but a whimper. |
Darkfall’s latest “fan” videos *Warning This video is not suitable for minors, contains violence and extreme language* A damming indictment of the psyche of some of this games followers , but hopefully not a true representation of the majority of its supporters. And *Warning This video is not suitable for minors, contains extreme language* A venomous tirade lasting over 7 minutes, but ironically considering the title contains nothing directly related to Darkfall at all, not a single screen shot, video clip or even a developer quote. Are these just the rantings of an isolated but disgruntled and perhaps seriously disturbed individual or an impression of the general attitude of a significant proportion of Darkfalls community of supporters? Either way this is an act of desperation that can only be detrimental and looks increasingly like an act of hubris. |

For someone who has obviously spent a considerable amount of time promoting Darkfall on Youtube, I would of expected you at least to be able to appreciate how detrimental and counter productive this attempt is in comparison to yours. But like I said hopefully this person does not represent the majority of the ardent supporters of this game, but judging by your somewhat tacit approval or “defense” of it, I wonder. |

The latest masterpiece from Drealm, at least it acutally has darkfall media this time. Apparently Wow, AoC and Warhammer players are the “true enemies”, and Darkfalls enemy’s will be "destroyed", and Darkfall it would seem is “the last real MMORPG”. Judging by the responses so far, perhaps I was wrong, perhaps Drealm does really characterize a significant proportion of the people left “supporting” this game, and if the official community forums are anything to go by it’s certainly believable, but I sincerely hope not. |

From what I've seen, every game has its rabid fanboi supporters, DF perhaps a few more than most, it certainly isn't unique. I do suspect they'll be more gamers in DF that I'd normally rather not associate with, the good news is I'll be able to kill them. |
