Google "MMORPGMaker" if you want to make your own MMORPG.

I'd like to see a KOTOR movie. That would be great, if they made it so that it didn't suck like the whining Anakin solo, or stupid Jar Jar crap.

I'd also consider that they are releasing their new Dragon Age game soon and they have been working on that for a very long time.  I doubt they would want it to get lost in the hype of a Star Wars game.

Dragon age was the same story as their mmo , Very little info has been given they are just now revealing the game. They didn't even have a title announcment until recently.

Why tell anyone anything?  The rampant speculation that is running around the internet is building more hype than anything I have ever seen.  This is free advertisement for LA and Bioware.  All they have to do is let one little slip of information and OMGZ look out!

"FIGHT THE MAN...Harness the power of Breakfast Cereals"

If I had several other Star Wars IPs that are due to launch within the next few months, I wouldn't do anything to hurt the sales. I think making a huge announcement would do that.

True Love Never Dies

there can be only one star wars mmo.

so in order for kotor to be released, swg must be closed down.

There is only one for more than just the obvious licensing reason, it is also because marketing 2 seperate star wars mmos will split the number of people interested in each right down the middle, better to just have everybody all over one at a time especially since it will make the active company much more involved and approving with the results. You can be sure if there is a contract part in the swg license that says X months from the end of the license the next license holder in line will be allowed to market their game, then ok you'll see kotor sometime in 2009 or however long into 2010 when swg is still online.

They just recently said ya it's a star wars game.

Like mentioned above, I certainly don't think BW has to release any info to generate hype. Everyone and their brother that frequents boards like this already knows they're working on a MMO. It had been widely accepted that it was a SW IP until the recent slip of the tongue confirmation at E3. So what would be gained at this point tossing out a name, screens, mechanics, et al versus the continued silent treatment? They wouldn't be expanding the hype of their game to any other mediums....still basically be all of us that already know there's a MMO coming down the pike being more informed. Yeah, that'd be great but what does that gain them?

Release screens? Oh, the graphics are lousy, the game looks like hell, it doesn't look realistic enough, it's too realistic, and the 4000 threads wondering if it'll work with my system...

Release date? Yeah, now there's a can of worms that really just does no good. Guess what happens if it's not shipped on that day...yeah, it's a failure, game ain't ready, or the  best one, they lied to us...

Game mechanics? How many posts/threads are there already saying the game is doomed/will fail if there's playable Jedi, if there isn't Jedi, if they're alpha or not. Pre-cu or nothing? The word cookie cutter has been tossed around so much that it isn't even funny considering we don't know squat about the game...

I played SWG back in the day. Quit after the NGE and got my refund for 'Trials of...' and am greatly looking forward to any good sci-fi MMO to be released, but I'm not expecting BW/LA to let the information floodgates open concerning this project any time soon. Besides, it's BioWare, this is the kinda secret dev cycle they've been noted for.

why do humans build, because it isn''t there

because fanboys are stupid asses that take one small thing and dream up entire game mechanics for it, then when they aren't in they feel wronged and make sure everyone knows so.
