recently i read this thread: <link removed> i saw links to age of conan powerleveling so i clicked on it! anyways i do not play age of conan, but i was thinking about checking it out--despite all the negative criticism about unfinished things in the game. well now ive made up my mind... i will never play this game lol! it takes 10 days for rmt to reach max level! : <link removed> even if you argue that ofcourse theyre rmt and they have different ppl leveling ur character 24/7. it still takes 10 days! wheres the hardcore part? where? why is this game so easy? is it 5 yr olds playing? do these ppl really think i cant handle a hard game? some of u might say.. if u dont like it then dont play it. well im doing just that so shut up lol.

Yup. I like this place. I want to stay here. That means obeying the RoC and seeing that it is enforced. You too can do this. Each post has a Report button over there on the right. |

I have to agree completely with the OP of this post.
It's sad that a game marketed to be mature has such a horrible difficulty level. Couple that with like 1 zone for each set of levels and the game really runs out of content fast. Great concept, decent game, but doesn't live up to the hype.
When will mmo makers realize difficulty is to be encouraged.. the great mmos like ultima online and everquest 1 were hard. the dumbing down of the industry is really sad. |

I feel the need to comment on this; Lately, I've noticed a trend with gold sellers coming in and posting lengthy posts stolen from various blogs and websites. In the stolen posts they add links to gold selling sites. Thing is, thanks to the blogs working differently from the forums, I can't actually delete them. If you see one of these, try mailing the URL to community@mmorpg.com. I'll leave this thread open because being able to get max level in less than two weeks is by no means an invalid topic of discussion. Proceed. |

Seems like OP is a goldseller... I've allways considered AoC to be PvP focused, although there are those who might continue to claim it's PvE... I mean it's Conan for crying out loud... What do you think is more hardcore - beating prgrammed NPC's with a pattern everyone will be able to figure out with time... OR fighting a real life skilled player opponent..?! The devs themself stated that they wanted to avoid timesink, and PvE grinding is just that. PvE isn't hardcore, PVP is.
Some people can't be happy unless they can whine about nothing...
