From the post ive read, there has been constant flaming and trolling over AoC, from the time since ive signed up for MMORPG.com ive never experienced this much. but everyone has there opinons and do have a right to stand and speak there mind but they never know when it goes over board. my opinon is that i do not like AoC, i just tried it on a friends account and i was disgusted horribly. From my opinon i think FunCom will be FailCom, and AoC will fall, due to many flaws.

(P.S i am not trying to start trolling or a flamefest so please do keep your fingers locked off the F and other cuss words)

Yea, basically the fanboys/AoC players are actually in the game then you have the 20 or so people here actually posting that had some misshap and decided to flame AoC. I take it all with a grain of salt, I honestly dont see many flaws in AoC but whatever.

Ive had plenty of problems with Aoc which is why i stoped playing. I dont think it was a horrible game overall and ill probably be back once a lot of the bugs are fixed.

I really like the game. I have been waiting to really put thought behind whether I would continue my subscription or not and I have decided yes for now.

I have played many of the MMO's out there and started all this in MUD's, yep I am old Tournament and the dungeons of Myth Gramor forever!, I find the game arc's nicely done. I like the feel of the game. I like the pace. I have my issues with the game and I fight the feeling I am paying in beta, I was in AoC beta and still feel that way sometimes, but all in all I find the game refreshing, innovative, fun, interesting and I love the destiny arc and the main arcs. The game feels a bit like Thief and Oblivion had a child with the ai more Thief-ish. I will re-send my thoughts when and if I hit 50 or more but for now I have had fun and thats what I like in games...fun. I loved Warcarft I and I loved WC2 but by WC3 my friends had laminated build/time charts and they had a blast doing it, I feel away because it felt like work to me.

This game gives me, a casual player, a good time 2-3 hours 3-4 times a week and thats good enough for me. Still LOTRO FTW. Just MHO.

If the whole game was like Tortage then they would have as close to a WoW killer as anyone has come.  There are reasons that AoC got huge reviews.

Unfortunately the game takes a steep dive after you leave Tortage and gathers steam heading to the gutters.

There is huge promise with this game, and maybe if they can get rid of many of the bugs while adding some content, they will reach that potential. But right now I highly recommend you wait until the free trials come out before you try it.

This comes from a person who had 2 accounts for EA's Earth and Beyond.  I have played in lag.  I have played with bugs.  I have played with long server downtimes.  I loved that game.

Just how fast does a female hit?

Or are you still being forced to play in a lower quality of graphics?

I guess people each have their own opinion of flaws....

All I know is DT's are gimped, ToS is king of all classes (still) and combat runs at a snails pace.

Bloodlust, you dont remember the flame war between EQ2 and WoW? That made AoC look like chutes and Ladders in comparison.

It had gotten so bad we had to sticky warnings in the main forum pub and the specific game forums. It was HORRIBLE.  Hundreds of EQ2 vs WoW, WoW sucks buy EQ2, EQ2 sucks buy WoW posts were posted literally every day.

I was a moderator back then.  We were receiving DOZENs of reported posts an hour.  This is nothing here in AoC.

Then you need to take off the rose colored glasses, especially if you're into PvP.

Anyways, other companies have used the old line that negative feedback on the forums is only from a vocal minority.  Well, they were wrong.  SOE is a pioneer in that field.

Sieges Nothing I personaly want to play and never looked forward to it, shame afcoure it seems not to be working completely as far I know from hear say.

Out of Memory Seems to be a problem that doesn't effect 100% of hte player base, I never had a out of memory, or seen my fps meter go into red, I did however had a few crashes, but then when thinking of all the other games I have played I remember that almost any game I have played or tried at release has given me some crashes, I mean remember when WOW was released how often we indeed could ask DID EVERYBODY CRASH, or LAGG, which was something at the time that happend to everyone ...atelast on the server I was playing, and so far I had less crashes with AoC then I had lag or crashes with WOW at release (and beta) The biggest problem with all these new people into this genre is they lack experiance, or in many cases might have blocked past experiance's, or in some cases people are so profound stupid that they think to compare games that have been released years ago to compare it's current state with that of a just released game.

Broken / Nerfed / "Is it nerfed?  Devs won't say" Feats Kids play, cause lets face it kids have a hard time addepting where a mature person only sees a challenge to understand his character might be slightly different, the new kid on the block will panic if something is changed and forums like this keep proving that. Now don't get me wrong there are individuals wh are very young but also very mature, problem is we don't see them much on forums like this. And often it's not even a kid but just a adult acting childish.
