Good job learning!! Now please pass this on to all your newbie poster friends. When you start a topic, you should consider posting as much info as to WHY you have such an opinion, so people can correctly and hopefully intelligently respond to your opinion without momma jokes and douche references.

Like it has been said, very nicely too, it's not the graphics we love, it's the little details that missing in other MMO's that Aion will have in ONE package. As it is I have about 4 games I like that have a little bit of this and a little of that. Boy would I love one game that has it all, and Aion might just be that game. Graphics aside, though they are a nice perk.

So, then, can you elaborate on these 'little details' that culminate to make Aion a great game?

I don't think it's trolling to really ask what makes Aion stand out. I think the majority of MMORPGer's are pretty depressed as there aren't many good games out at the moment. We're all striving to find something, but everything keeps letting us down (for example, AoC).

So, if you'd be so kind...

Beautiful night tonight, wouldn''t you agree?

Ok, it is called trolling to go and post on another games forums and put it down, trying to create a meaningless debate over simple opinions.

I dont care if you dont like it, and I am sure that many other people feel the same way, sorry to be so blunt.

I will answer the above posters questions as best as I can with a list of a few details that make the game lifelike and such. Just because I like answering questions, not because I want to debate more.

-Graphics(of course) just adds a better sense of realism, and engagement to a game. Allows you to feel more a part of it.

-Real human acts and gestures. There are automatic gestures and such, which are not triggered by an emote, but which happen automaticly. These include swatting at flies, surveying the land, ect. Very cool feature, just a fun little detail.

-Fluid Motions, most games dont have this anymore, especially WoW, the motions are very choppy, and dont work well, With aion, everything is fluid, movement seems real, fighting seems real, everything works very well.

-Abyss ing general, especially fortress seiges and large scale PvP battles. It is very large, and will be the spot for alot of fun in the game.

-Both Instanced and Non Instanced dungeons, such as, a raid, you may have to compete for, and fight with another raid group for a boss ect.

-A very good community, yes we do have the occasional trollers and such on Aionsource, but in general, the community of Aion is very friendlt, and full of good natured people.

-PvPvE, putting a very good aspect, and an aspect of Epicness to the game, making it so that your choises, and battles affect the game. The baular will make their decisions depending on what happens in the game.

-Great crafting system. -It is simple, but challenging, it serves a purpose, as you will get most of your items from it. SUpposed to be very fun and entertaining.

-Player Housing will be in the game, maybe not at release, but in a patch soon after.

-Huge level of customization, you can make a weapon look like anything you want through craftiong and combibing items, you can pick and choose the skin of the weapons and armor for instance. There is also the stigmas, which will make almost every character different with their skills. And a great character customization which may rival CoX

-More fast paced and skill based PvP, more movement required, and more strategy. Engaging, and entertaining combat.

This is all I care mentioning at this time, because it is time to eat :), someone else will gladly fill in more, And please. Hopefully it has answered a few questions f yours, thank you, And Have a nice day.

Thank you.

Well, it definitely sounds great. I'll continue to do my own research, and hopefully it lives up to all you say.

I'd really love to have another great MMO to play once again.

"Whats that on your arm"
"Crab claw"
"Oh, cool!"

OK, so, i only post when i have something decent to say, in this case its a decent flaming.

Oben (the topic poster) only has a total of 15 posts on this website, i know this may sound ignorant but that doesn't seem like enough forum experience to flame a game he hasn't even read about, he saw a screenshot with a winged character and it was low quality therefore looking like L2, a common mistake but going on about how thats the only feature? Come on, from what ive read they're even adding flying combat (arial battles!?! sweet!)

As for the rudeness of the whole post and the excessive ignorance used in it i just dont think this is how post should look, shame on you Oben.

Must be one of them 10 year olds from WoW, SHAZAM!

lol. That's all I have to say to you.

Anyway back to the two previous intelligent posters:

When I meant a heaven vs hell plot, it meant to be relating to, not literally.  As I've read, the two "races" are both human yet are different in one being more angelical and one being more demonic.  And two: Theres player buildings?  Can you elaborate on that a bit more?  You said theres player housing, but is there player merchants, player cities, player hirelings, etc.  I've always loved player controlled territories and buildings but few games have it, and the games that do have it, are completely out of date (shadowbane, how i miss you) As well, I should have mentioned before, I am not a combat specialist, nor am I looking for eyecandy,  I look for games that have a player controlled economy, and player buildings.

Also with the wings... I know it's a timed thing, but I'm just trying to say, wings aren't like a big achievement as persay something you get at the last of your level.

Player housing is something considered for future expansions, or atleast, it was reported like that by a Ncsoft guy.

There are NPC who will defend your fortresses and controlled artifacts (artifacts, for those who don't know, allow your faction to put a dent on your enemy faction's defence by transforming them into frogs, getting away their ability to fly inside fortresses, to hit them with DOTs, etc, there are many artifacts affecting different zones and each one has a different effect.)

The faction owning a fortress will have priviledge over certain hunting zones in the abyss, and the economy is there, AHs are quite used already during beta, and there are player shops if you want to sell something outside of the cities, like selling potions on a popular hunting zone so people don't have to go back to town.

There are taxes for owning a fortress, people will buy from the vendors in the abyss, and a % of that money will go to the legion controlling that zone. Fortresses also give your faction direct access to certain zones, which are hard to get to otherwise.

The Abyss system is deffinetly a well thought out and solid concept, and all of that is being tested already with good results.

and thats why you're a "hardcore" troller. You put no contribution to any post and litter forums with your exact phrase.
