Darkfall

Since various trolls continue to maintain they've never seen DF mobs in a video, well I was watching the 2006 gameplay video and sure enough you can clearly see a camp of mobs in a ruin in the background at 0:55 into the clip. You can also see them patrol around as well. There is another mob visible at 1:13 as well.

OMG, you're right!

I just downloaded the video in higher resolution and there are indeed 5 mobs at those ruins (4 in line, one patrolling infront of them). Nice find!

Who cares? You think some monsters standing around with simple path finding is something special?

You silly trolls sure do because this is one of the reasons you guys label DF as vaporware. I'm glad you realise that mobs standing around isn't exciting; not nearly as real-time combat and all the other groundbreaking stuff DF has.

Correct...

Also just because you "saw" a single mob camped in the background of some ruins on some second hand "video", with all the features the DF devs are promising about spectacular game play and 30+ FPS with 100 character raid battles...  This find really doesn't amount to jack!

I don't think mobs are a big deal myself but apparently lots of you trolls do...

Fact is, DF does have lots of info and screenie/video coverage of all their major features. Sieges could use more coverage, and that's coming in  next month's video.

Don't be surprised if there aren't 100 people on-screen though, they might not have 100 testers handy... then again maybe they will be some bots as well...

You sure like to toss around the word troll, dont you?   Why dont you lighten up with that, you would be taken more seriously.

At 0:55 I see 5 figures in the distance.  Oh boy.  Considering that Aventurine claims to have some of the best AI in the biz, it is REASONABLE to expect some actual footage of this awesome AI in action.  OK?
