Not really a exploit when the game lets you do it, just people using strategy. |

I hate when ppl say when a game allows you to do it its not an exploit....they never intended for that to happen, and it allows some ppl to get an unfair advantage over other players, aka exploit. Ever time eve posts this a few ppl always say that. |

It is even more a travesty, that someone comes to a board and refuses to think and just lets mindless thoughts forth on the forum. This was clearly an exploit from the get go. Seriously think before you post such nonsense next time. |

Agreed, its annoying to realize that some folks out there don't really have a moral compass and basically look at defects in coding as acceptable to take advantage of when its clear that was not the developers intent. Sure, in a single player game, you want to exploit a gold dup bug go right ahead, but in a PVP MMO, no room for people unfairly exploiting mechanics such as this. People often think that just because EVE is a harsh world, that anything goes. While there is quite a bit of freedom, even the ganking, lying, cheating and stealing is regulated within a set of rules, its not FFA for everything.

Strategy to cheat to get ahead? I am sure if CCP says it is a exploit that they did not know of the issue before it happened. Therefore, it is an unintended game mechanic. As such, I am sure CCP will take action to remove said exploit. In the meantime, it is ok for CCP to notify everyone that it is an exploit and that those using that exploit will be dealt with. The thing that gets me is that people really think that if you can exploit you should exploit. I just don't get it in a game (or in real life for that matter). Am I the only one that tries to play by the rules? |

Wouldn't call it cheated but a design flaw from CCP that they should patch. |

What's really annoying here is that in a game where people are rewarded for cutting every throat they possibly can, they're ridiculed for this. Yes it's an exploit,<Mod edit> |

Yes its true that scamming is allowed in EvE within the game systems because each scam can be avoided if you pay attention. As for the OP news item. Ive never experienced this but this is definatly a scam as its preventing factional ships from intercepting a hostile faction player, and as this is a deliberate action designed to benefit those who are cheating then i cant see how its NOT an exploit of NEW game mechanics. |

CCP is the only one classifying things as exploits-bugs or working-as-intended features, it is their game and they push it where they think it's best. We mean squat in this, and its good, because idiot playerbases can ruin entire games. |
