Hello. I am looking for SOLID advice on the best free mmo... and please keep these aspects of what I want/don't want in mind...

- I HATE the Asian/Korean crap. ( I prefer American style mmos )

- Fantasy setting highly preferred. (ie swords/daggers/magic, not guns)

- sandlot/open world preferred.

- Atleast a few players, I don't wanna play in an empty world.

Any advice?

Thanks

- Zaxx

Broaden your horizons is all I can say. Practically every free-2-play MMO IS made in Asia and ported here, AND is a grind. Besides, most Fantasy based Free MMOs are Asian in origin, sorry :\

Knight online, if you want totally free, but it has grind, or had, been a while. GuildWars, if you dont mind paying for the initial game, not a grind, free 2 play. Dont know if they are the best, they're only ones, that come close to what your seeking, that I know of. Played a couple Euro ones, but as I recall they were grinders and or, something. lol.

WAR and WoW

You didn't mention whether you wanted an RPG or not, but if you don't mind playing a free MMO non-RPG I would recommend Travian. Unfortunately, buying gold in the game does have massive advantages but you can still play it totally free if you really want to.

I actually think GW is a grind even if you play PvP to get skills. But that's just me I guess. If you're really interested in GW, I recommend extremely strongly to find the three expansions in a bricks-and-mortar store rather than to buy the games from NCSoft directly. You would end up saving yourself a bundle of money! If not, I recommend buying the Nightfall game first if you just want to try it out. Nightfall has heroes in it.

Best of luck

I am first and foremost a Sci-Fi lover. But I would take WoW over EVE any day.

Try Tibia. I hate it for various reasons, but it fits your criteria.

I am also looking for a F2P don't need to kill the same creature for 1 million times from level 1 up to level 150 and the game simply just change the name on the creature.
