Stand up for what you believe; Even if you stand alone. |
I just completed a survey sent to me by Funcom regarding Age of Conan. Now I've been considering cancelling my sub for at least a few months until hopefully the game improves with some great content so it was nice to see this survey pop up and it acutually asked if I was planning on cancelling and why, what I would like to see changed/improved and what I like etc. Basically, I hope they use the information that the customer base will give them and really implement some changes for the better sooner rather than later. I appreciate the survey especially from an MMORPG company, but will we see positive changes as a response? Here's hoping... |

Turbine did this shortly after the launch of LotRO and used the survey results to fix the things that were most important to players, and to start work on the features the majority of players wanted. I hope Funcom follows suit and starts working on things we want to see as opposed to all the junk they've been doing lately.

Yes I filled it out also. Now the question is will they actually read these and learn from them. |

I also filled out the survey. I was forcefully honest, but nice. One of the last comments I had was "Bewbies FTW." This was before they nerfed them. LOL! |

Existence is random! |
I filled that survey out today too, it would be good if they took notice & improved things. After a bumpy start, AoC has a long way to go before becoming a stable mainstream MMO, but I really hope they achieve it as the game has a great deal of potential. Generally, I'm reasonably happy with the game at present as I was bored with my old MMO that I had played for several years, I love the style & being a casual player I still have plenty of things to do, plus last but not least I am just not that interested in any of the other current MMOs available. I know many other players are unhappy, but I certainly feel that I got more than my money's worth from both the initial purchase & my continued subscription. I am not totally hooked though, so if something else came along I could still be easily tempted to switch. They probably won't publish the results, but I hope they use them wisely. |

"We are happy to announce that on a recent survey more than 90% of the players that have given feedback showed that they love AoC and will continue playing, with emphasis on the miracle patches given out along the weeks, AoC success is without precend as its popularity continues to grow." Next game director's letter. |

Seriously, I wouldn't doubt it. Funcom is getting close to the point though where their spin won't work anymore.

Originally posted by Cway214 No, the question is "does it reflect what us loudmouths here on the forums seem to think of the game?" As you can see, some people in this thread already brush aside a survey result report not reflecting their own opinion as pure fabrication. ;-) |
