My dog ate your homework. |
I must say I don't really dig those instances... While I have nothing against them as such I'm really worried about their impact on world RvR population. It mostly depends on how it turns out rewards-wise. Imo this is the only real problem with WAR's core game design: how do you stop instances from sucking away people from world RvR? Me, I'd put some limits on that.. Like decreasing rewards.. maybe even a limit on the number of instances open at any point in time. That kind of thing. We'll see... |

I remember when the instanced missions in CoH were giving out more XP than the outdoor street hunting. The street hunting became a barren land becuase the reward was better in instances.

I just see them as something for people to do when there arent many guildies online. Or for those that dont have hours of game time to commit to long sieges. Lets face it wow's bg's do wonders for casual gamers or the non-raiders or even those that just hate arena's. I think the scenarios will be a low risk high reward type thing. Sounds like they are trying to cater for all types of gamers, hardcore folks will likely spend every waking hour doing everything :P |

RVR Realm vs Realm If it benfits your realm in the over all war in the game. i.e. It helps you to defeat the other realm its RVR not BG. Battle Grounds has no purpose in a war it doesn't benfit you or your realm. |

Realm vs. Realm (RvR) is a term that Mythic Entertainment trademarked when they released thier previous MMORPG, Dark Age of Camelot. Just like Player vs. Environment (PvE) and Player vs. Player (PvP), RvR just describes a gaming niche.
Scenarios are most definately RvR.
Thank you, next please.....

The rewards are equal in open RvR and instanced RvR. The instanced type is a great way to help your realm if you can't dedicate hours of your time to sieging. |
