If you had an old mmo and you've havent played it in a while why not play again. Start over get fresh start we could have an entire restart and refresh of old games. Just think what would happen if everyone quit there mmo right know and joined some of the old mmo's Like UO, AC, DAoC, EQ1, AO.

We could show developers we want what we had and not what we have know!

Forum Poll

I would pay a lot to get the chance to go back and play my old game again. But SOE violently murdered Star Wars Galaxies, then advertised the corpse.

Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic
Played: SWG, Guild Wars, WoW
Playing: Eve Online, Counter-strike
Loved: Star Wars Galaxies
Waiting for: Jumpgate Evolution, Earthrise, Fallen Earth, anything sandbox.

Would go back to UO and SWG in a heartbeat if they were the original games I purchased.

I''m tired of lurking.

I did go back and try EQ again this last month when they reopened all the old accounts.  Unfortunately that mystique is gone.  I have a 65 necro and I was soloing in all the new lands.  Except the grind was the first thing I felt, and in EQ when it takes 2-3 mins to solo a mob the grind gets to you REAL fast.

UO got me feet wet but in EQ I jumped right in, and today it's something I can't get back into.

No point in going back to EQ1.  The feeling it had when it started is long gone.  And in the game I really liked, SWG, there's nothing to go back to.

If Christianity is the following of Christ, His words and His leadership, then Christianity is the right way forward. Jesus is the One who claimed to be THE Truth and who possesses all wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:4-5) Though in Christianity many may say or do goofy things, Christ is the Faithful Witness so that is my cornerstone. When I made that decision, the world and all of its religions and philosophies suddenly became clear as it is all of Him, through Him, to Him and for Him.

Just my opinion, but I think there are 2 major reasons why most people don't go back:

1) The old games have changed too much over the years...for the worse.

2) Populations are no where near what they use to be.

Take and old MMO, roll it back to it's early state (with some fixes here and there), market the hell out of it, and you could probably bring in a decent number of players.

3) Account gets erased after 3 months and have to buy whole new key code and start all over with new character (Final Fantasy 11)
