Type all "leet" in MMORPGs, Forums, or anygame really. It absoltuley makes me go crazy. Its my biggest pet peeve. Its probably one of the reasons I quit World of Warcraft.
I just can't stand when people say "any1" instead of anyone..why can't they just spell it correctly? Also "N E 1" just type ANYONE. GAH!
So, what are some of your pet peeves in MMOs? |

I can't stand that snizzle either I hate when people call me, or other people for noob all the time, it's so annoying. You played nicely for an hour, you make one little mistake, and suddenly you're a noob, . |

One slang I really don't mind is "Lol", its the only one I can reall stand. But "lawl" and "lul" are just annoying...
I also hate being called a newb when I ask questions in general chat...just immature and annoying. |

The biggest pet peeve I have, is when I have to wait for a reply because someone is trying to type correctly. In games it could mean win or lose. |

I do not mind 1337 though I do not usually speak it. I am more offended by stereotypical behavior, such as assuming that people who play games have no life, or that you cannot be athletic and play games, or people who walk around insulting people for no apparent reason. Now that is annoying. |

It doesn't take very long to show that you are not an idiot. I agree with the OP. There are a ton of "words" that are being used that bug me. Mainly I am bothered by the fact that people are content to look like morons. I don't understand it. | |
