Yes, im mad at NC for not going to E3.  I was hoping, and im sure many other people were too, that they would make an announcement for Aion.  Maybe release date? Beta dates? anything!! It would have been nice to see some more screens/videos as well, but oh well.,

well they will be at  Leipzig Games Convention later this summer so all is not lost for more infos.

Hype is BAD, mmmkay?

You already know about the game, and they're not going to tell you anything at E3 that can't be handled in a press release.  Why is it so important to you that they waste a bunch of money and effort on a stupid trade show?

So you can kick the PS3's fanboiz in the balls and say FF13 is coming out for the 360. Anyway back on topic hype is bad and this game looks more like a sequal to Lineage than a new game and i reckon (but i hope not) thats its going to be a grinder.
 

I am sure NCSOFT is looking for a better venue to show case AION then E3. I believe E3 itself has been scaled back drastically by the committee that runs E3.

hype isnt bad if the game delivers what the hype is about.  Im not saying NCSoft should make some empty promises to build up excitement for the game, to then just let us down.  But maybe a demo? release date perhaps, theres no way those things are gonna ruin the game

name 1 game that has EVER delivered on all its has hyped on.

E3 thats going on now is only for media and industry. They might be holding off for E3 For All that is coming in the fall for the public.

E3 is not what it used to be. NCsoft will be at PAX in August and AION will be there.

  Believe Ncsoft had a private booth at E3 with invite only like Cryptic. Expect to see a preview of Aion for US/Euro sometime in Aug , I think from Fileplanet but i m not 100% sure. Playforum the Korean site has alot more information on Aion phase , beta notes and interviews.

      Ncsoft right now is going through bit of readjustment , the Korean market and Chinese market is growing different than projected. Sales are not increasing up , but side ways , meaning more people are playing but less people are buying games and pc /game console products.

    Japan is almost dead its growth was projected at 22% but its so low , Square is moving into China and  US/Euro market which is in mass upward swing.

    You wont hear anything from the minor the players (NCsoft , Cryptic , f2p market) because e3 is mostly closed to bloggers and internet reporters. CNN , Fox , and the big news people are covering MS , Xbox and stuff most people dont care about like the next FF titles .

E3 got scaled down by big companies like EA withdrawing their money, the end.
