Alright so. One can only dwell in the land of Warcraft for so long.

Ive just become bored with it. And now i want something to play, that doesnt have the hefty charge per month.

I myself dont mind a grind, as long as there are actual people to talk to.

Im trying to keep myself entertained and yet busy until either Aion, or Diablo3 is released. Which i dont see it happening anytime soon.

So far on my quest to find enjoyment ive tried these games but failed horribly :
 

2moons - NO ONE talks x.x its like, zombie land.

Rappelz - Was fun, but just not enough...

Rohan - Blah, i could do without the ks'rs and everyone hating eachother. The community is way immature.

Last Chaos - Just not my kind of game, i need some like,  graphics.. x.x

Lunia Online - Thought was gonna be sorta like diablo, but boy was i wrong.

Someone help me?

whats the criteria for the game that you are looking for?

Guild Wars FTW.....even though its not completely F2P, you just have to buy one of the campaigns for around $20 and you can play the game free for life.

At the moment I'm playing Navy Field while waiting for WAR.

It's a great free multiplayer online game although its not really a MMO. Loads of fun - WWII ships with guns and torpedoes. You can form and join clans, fight huge naval battles with other players etc.

Oh, and the gfx is retro 2D but it is really well done and very atmospheric. Gameplay itself is very intense and action-like although it is a quite complex RPG/simulation thing underneath. If you like a good casual PvP match and dig WWII warships then its really worth trying it out.

Im not quite into the whole gun thing.

I like more of swords/magick type dealio.

Want spells and swords with good graphics? You should try The Sword of the New World... it's freaking amazing! I've been playing it for about 2-3 months now and it's addicting! It's a big download though but it's free ^_^

Ive looked into that game before.

And what i have found is people complain about the fact that everyone just afk's.

If you can tell me, that there are people who talk, and that its not going to be me alone for the whole game, because half the reason i play a mmorpg is for the community.

Then i will download and give it a go.

If not, then its not for me =].

Some people AFK in SotNW, and the reason they're able to get away with it is because they have a healer set on auto-heal and two other characters doing damage.  The character AI pretty well takes care of itself in those situations.

Even so, the game is worth a try if you can handle the oversized download.  Playing a unit of three characters is really a unique experience, and the atmosphere of the game world is incredibly unique.

Ye what Teck said... there is allot of AFKers but that is because of the auto-attack command (press Space and your chars will attack (or heal if you get a scout in the party) all mobs coming near which is great if you need to eat or go to the bathroom xD) but it is a great game as you'r not stuck with those 3 chars for the entire game.. more people will join your Family as you finish specific quests and all that... lvling is fairly fast in the beggining... you hit like lvl 10 fast as hell then it gets  a little slower... you will do allot of soloing if you don't find a active Guild/clan, w/e you wanna call it, or active people heh. But it's well worth it :P

Oh and Cabal sux -_- I played for 3-4 days total and I got up to lvl 13 before I quit... not a noob friendly game... allot of pkers everywere.. so I quit.. though I play on a private server now xD Pretty fun.. just fooling around and there are more friendly people there as 90% actually speak English ^_^ and not the other way around haha... I've prolly played every f2p and most p2p mmo's out there... though I'm yet to find the ultimate one...  god I need a life -_-

Ive played like EVERY one atleast for a month or more.

I need something extremely entertaining to play.

But yet, there are no games that meet that criteria.

So id be on SotNW right now, but i accidently closed my Dwnload manager and now i have to redo part 1 and 2.

Ye it's hard to find a mmo that keeps you entertained for a long time... there is actually only 2-3 games which I go back to from time to time.. Lineage 2, Mu online and Ragnarok Online, Mu and RO I only play for like 1 week before I get bored again... but Lineage 2 I can play for months if I find a good server ^^, and yes I mostly only play on private servers ^^, I don't like the idea of paying to play a game.. it's just wrong in my opinion (and yes I know about keeping servers active and paying staff I'm aware of all that so no need to flame) so ye :P But if the game is really good I can pay for it (like Everquest 2... god I love that game).. If Matrix Online wasn't so f-kd up I would consider paying for that too just to play it ^_^

Never talk bad about Diablo x_x There is no better RPG game then Diablo 2 (atleast until D3 comes out :D) and yes I've tried The 4th coming... I liked it... for a wile just as you said... it reminded me of Diablo... but it's so slow x_x I need action.. fast paced battles and gameplay... I'm not keen on graphics, I can play anything as long as the gameplay is good and it has a good story... so ye... I kinda lost myself now... what was the question? xD
