I played Rappelz once before and quickly got bored out of my mind. I play Silkroad now with my cousin, but have decided to give this game one last chance.

Silkroad good in chinese and magic skills and fighting

and Rappelz in future skills fighting and a bit graphics...go with what you like is what i ....err....sometimes say xD

I'd have to recommend Rappelz.

Silkroad has a big bot problem and it's hard to connect or very bad lag. Plus I think Rappelz has better customer service.

I'l play Silkroad more if those problems weren't there probably.

But I play with my friends on Rappelz, so it's all fun! :D

Silk Road is a nice game but the huge number of bots is something really bad and the real players stay out of the game ! I´ve played it for 6 months but I came back to Rappelz.

Yeah I can't log on to SilkRoad...ever...

But I had some fun on it before. I'd still say Rappelz though.

lol silkroad has actualy started to bann bots most servers arent even crowed so u can log on no prob....... i love the game but its way to hard to lvl.... to lvl u gotta get plvled to get plvled u gotta have alot of money... no one like evn tlaks . everyone ignores u unless ur lvl like 70+ not noob friendly ... all the high lvls botted the average ref player not bitting ets to like lvl 30...... 9$ for 250 hours..  i would like to play  rappelz i heard it got fun after 30..... but i got way to bored at 20 :(

Indeed. Lately, they seem to have increased all server sizes. I've experienced less lag as well.

Someone above stated silkroad is good with chinese characters and magic. They also have European characters.. but they seem to be a bit of a rip-off of WoW classes with a few added features.

who cares if it rips of wow....... it will make the game better....

hmmm so they increases server sizes. im just guesssing all servers are gonna be crowded eventualy with more bots >.>

let me start with, neither games are wow ripps in any way

that being said both games are midless asian grinders. rappels is run by g-potato which means that gm's are present in the game, and gold farmers are kept under control, as are bots.

silkroad, on the other hand, is a mindless asian grinder *with* something else to do, you can go through the whole caravan thing either attacking caravans or running one, or assisting one.  this pvp type activity is neither balanced or fair, the chineese side is over powerd. also in silkroad you have a huge bot problem, huge gold farmer problem, no global chat unless you pay for it and a really cruddy community (think Knight Online style without the fun pvp) and just like knight online they say time and time again the bots will be history, yet nothing changes

so you choice is mindless asian grinder #1 wiht good community and support or asian grinder #2 with something else to do in game but with no support and a bot problem

my suggestion, go rappelz, you will have more fun as you WILL be able to log into the game to actually play it, as silkroad blocks all non p2p members once their servers get like 30% full, and you can expect the servers to contain around 30-50% bots at any given time

and  a tip, if your going to pay for either of these games, resist the urge, both game will end up being like 10X as expensive as a real p2p game. if your going to drop even 10-20 on either of these games its not worth, just pay for a real p2p game.

definatly rappelz. rappelz maybe a grinding game but its a team grinding game but skillroad is a solo grinding game.

the only reason rappelz suck is too much grinding and lag. but other than tht i like it very much.

in my opinnion switch skill road with sword of the new world. (many ppl hate to play 3 char at the same time) thts the only reason i know tht "most" not all ppl dont like that much about the game. u can play solo but it will be hard.

or u can switch it with rohan, its a good game but still new so its still not that great but i prefer it more than skillroad.
