Star Wars Galaxies

Ever since the NGE was released I have been quiting and then going back to swg.  Well, no longer my friends!  Luier was created the second day of the CU and he was killed today, he was an elder jedi and that account had over 4 years of vet rewards. He had 2 alts, a BH and a Smug., but are dead now too.  I also had a second account with 2 master crafters, they're dead too!

I need to be welcomed!

Yep.  The game has changed slightly for the better but it still isn't up to par with competitive MMOs on the market.  Anyone who actually pays a premium to play this game clearly has pretty low standards for what they expect.

We can all enjoy Fallen Earth hopefully in the near future.  It won't be Pre-CU SWG, but it will blow away everything out there.

Yeah, best way to remove temptation is to not leave yourself an "out". My walk away was much easier - SOE killed the ranger profession so there was nothing to return to after that. At any rate, glad to have you back.

Way to go, man.  Grats on taking the final step, that isn't an easy thing to do.  Even if technically SOE killed your characters long ago, it's nice to make it official.  =D

I deleted my Elder Jedi and alts a long time ago, was one of the hardest things I had ever done in a game.  My sister said I was crazy for doing it but after waiting and waiting and hoping the SWG of old would return I finally realised it was done.

I came back a few times and would instantly realise all I did was give SOE $15 for nothing so I figured if I deleted all my toons I wouldnt waste any more money on the game that is today. I did go back for a little bit this month with the free trial, just to relive the old memories. It is sad to see how the game is anymore compared to what it used to be but it was nice to revisit some of the old places and hearing the music and sound effects.

I was talking to a friend just the other day who bounces around MMO's like I do anymore and we both agreed if the game never had changed we would both still be playing it to this day. The game had so much potential, its sad to see what it has become.

Oh well, its been time to move on for a long time, congrats to you on taking the final step and ending the greatest saga ever told...... yours!

I however have not deleted my toons... its kind of a nostalgia thing. i just dont go back cause then the nostalgia is ruined... its like reanimating a corpse of a loved one... just not the same.

I deleted my main toon the week the NGE launched.  I kept some of the alts.  It's tough having so much time and effort invested into a game knowing that the game is currently SO BAD that I can't enjoy playing it.

SOE will never see another dime from me as long as old Smed is still there.
